I did enjoy the formation thing Ferrari were doing during Q3...
I honestly was thinking Alonso was giving Massa a tow to get up front the first time out, and then they were going to swap for the second attempt...

the new post race interviews on the podium are very cool!
Really? I absolutely hate them. It's already hard enough to understand the drivers sometimes, I'd much rather hear some serious question by journalists than awesome past F1 personalities who make crappy MCs.

Wasn't expecting RB to fail so badly.
Kimi up to third in the chip

WOW Checco WOW! He's the next Alonso...i'm liking what he's doing! And he's so easy on the tires too...Sauber coming out of nowhere to take 2nd
I love the new podium format a LOT, but it does need a real MC up there. Past greats make terrible interviewers...
Great race all around. Loving this season!!

each successive race now is going to have the tension ramped up exponentially. this is going to be crazy by the time the USGP comes around. Suzuka, India (I love the circuit), Interlagos. Going to be epic.

Red Bull will probably do good at the high downforce tracks (they seem to be really good at generating downforce at minimal drag) but struggle at low downforce tracks. Not sure if any team is as consistent in performance as the McLaren this year, but they did shoot themselves in the foot a few times early on with pitstop problems.Singapore is probably a Red Bull/Mclaren track, with Ferrari and Lotus right there with them. Renault alternators at a super hot very long street circuit?
As long as Fred can maintain his run of podium finishes I think the rest of the group behind him will take enough points away from each other to give Fred a chance at winning it without winning another race.

This...and he's less likely to get stuck behind petrov this year too.

Lewis HAS to be wanting to stay at McLaren if he really wants wins.
PS: @ the boos for Lewis on the podium, as well as how well Alonso can (and does) work the crowd.

Mercedes doesn't have the budget to compete consistently (it'll take another double diffuser to get them over), ferrari is a option, and RBR would be a huge mistake as long as the Dietrich-Helmut-austrio-german mafia is in place.
Vettel moving to Marinello first, then hammy moving to RBR, is the only way he doesn't make his situation a lot worse, let alone better.
