Snoozer of a race. Too bad the Mercs had so much pace over everyone else.
Could have been interesting if the Red Bulls hadn't been fucked by grid penalties as well.

Hopefully things will be a bit closer in Singapore, that was basically last years race on repeat.

I'm thinking about checking out until the engines are opened up. This is fucking stupid.

McLaren Renault
Toro Rosso Honda
I'd love to see a miracle Honda engine next year and a Toro Rosso WCC just for the lolz, but we all know that's not going to happen..

I don't understand what STR is doing...
- Give up a decent engine
- Give up a good driver
- Get a shitty engine package
Considering STR is Red Bull, they don't need the money... so what is Honda or McLaren giving them for such a shitty trade?
Renault and McLaren are the real winners out of this...

I think RBR still wants off of renault, so maybe they are sacrificing STR as a sacrificial guinea pig in the hopes of perfecting the Honda motor.

Maybe RBR wants out and are hoping Honda would end up buying STR.

Unless Honda develops some crazy upgrade over the off season, STR is screwed until 2021 when the new engine regulations kick in...
Other options would be Mercedes (ha), Ferrari (which STR already had), and Renault...

So honda to power STR in 18 and RBR in 19. If there still is an RBR.

Vettel boned that one...why did he take such a big risk so early in the race?
He has shown signs of cracking this year...making really simple mistakes, like when he ran into Hamilton. If he loses this, it will be his own damn fault.

Also...yeah....I don't understand how this engine swap is a good idea at all. Honda hasn't shown any progress in 3 years, what makes RB think they are going to fare better?

It was actually a pretty good race... shame Kimi didn't even start...
Turbo failures on both cars? What are the chances.

Sad to see Sepang off the calendar as it was the first track I ever saw F1 in person, but at least they put on a good show for the final race. There have def. been some snoozers there, but Sepang was the first of a new generation and a whole new standard for F1 tracks (whether that is a good or bad thing can be argued).
