Also, looking from Maxs viewpoint, he only turned in more when it looked like Kimi was going to turn into him.

That move isn't legal...lol.
It's a shitty call but if Max could do that, then every car should've been taking that line in that corner.

Happy for Lewis... he earned that one...
Kinda boring race considering Vettel and Lewis really needed to cut through the field...

I'm falling out of love with F1
I couldn't even bother to watch replays of the last race...the season started out strong but Vettel and Ferrari just fell apart at the end. Season ended much earlier than it should have considering that Vettel had the lead for most of the year.

2013+ has been pretty much single team dominance. Kinda makes it a bit less fun when its just a teammate battle IMO. I'm sure the comparison to Senna/Prost would be compared, but even the HAM/ROS inter team rivalry was as dull as a sack of bricks considering they didn't really race head-to-head on track all that much.

not so fun fact: since the new turbo era, Merc has won 78% of all races, with nearly half of their losses in that span all coming in 2017, yet they still clinched the WCC 4 rounds early, and WDC 2 rounds early.

I think the money has murdered the sport...the top teams keep winning, and the underdogs have no chance of making up grounds. Sauber, Williams hang out in the back when it would be wonderful as hell to see them going to toe to toe with Ferrari & MB....but the top teams would never allow that. I was really hoping Vettel could keep it on the pointy side - but I hate to admit it but I don't think he has the outright speed that Hamilton has. I felt like if Alonso was in that Ferrari, he would've stuck it to LH the entire time. Alonso has taken bigger dogs of a car and put it in places it shouldn't where Vettel seems to need the fastest car to win.
I am happy to see Kubica getting a chance though...but these last few races I've stopped downloading them to watch.

I couldn't disagree more. Vettel doesn't have the engine hambone has, that's it. Vettel was taking unnecessary hail-mary style risks because it was the only chance he had.
Vettel has never lost to a teammate - hambone has lost to 2.

Are we living in an alternate universe where 2014 was skipped?

Agh, shit. Ric is still significantly faster than Button and Barbie IMHO.

Right now, Lewis in a Merc, as to Vettel in the Red Bull.
That's mostly a fair analogy. But the RB was simply not as dominant as the current merc, nor were aero rules frozen/tokenized to entrench an advantage developed years ago.
