"Interestingly the Finnish postal service has been marking the stamps, which feature him and his car in Australia last year, as Raikkonen celebrating his victory in the 2007 Malaysian Grand Prix. Maybe they should go check with Fernando Alonso to see who really won that race…"

A return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway reportedly does not figure highly on Formula One officials' list of priorities.
Team bosses and Bernie Ecclestone got together at Spa-Francorchamps to discuss reinstating a United States Grand Prix, after Indianapolis dropped off the calendar following last year's race.
2010 was reportedly earmarked as the most realistic return date, with all parties keen to explore the idea of another venue.
Indeed, when asked by the local Indy Star newspaper about the latest reports, Indianapolis Motor Speedway boss Tony George said he has not spoken with Ecclestone about 2010.
Autoweek quotes Speedway spokesman Fred Nation as responding to suggestions that Bernie Ecclestone and F1 teams would prefer a race on the east or west coasts: "Good luck."
Asked the same question, George added: "I assume I know what they want."
He explained that talks to revive the US Grand Prix for next year "broke off during the summer."
After an unhappy Belgian Grand Prix, Robert Kubica has continued to voice his discontent as F1 makes the dash this week to Monza.
The Pole struggled to capture the same attention as his resurgent BMW Sauber teammate Nick Heidfeld at Spa-Francorchamps, and on Friday we reported that he used "harsh words" upon discovering incorrect settings on his car.
"The team has helped Nick a lot," France's sport24.com quotes Kubica as saying.
Kubica has won just 12 points from the last five Grand Prix, and while he finished sixth at Spa-Francorchamps, Heidfeld was on the podium.
"I hope that they will start to work a little for me, because these last four races, I think we have been asleep," the 23-year-old added.
After Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes-Benz unit was checked and given the all-clear following the German Grand Prix, the FIA is moving ahead with its inspections to test manufacturers' conformity with the engine freeze.
The Hamilton check was the first in 2008, and F1's governing body announced after the Belgian Grand Prix that the 2.4 litre Ferrari power plant fitted to Felipe Massa's car will be the next to go under the microscope.
"These checks will be done before the Italian GP," the FIA confirmed.
The Spanish sports daily Marca, meanwhile, reports that at a bosses meeting at Spa-Francorchamps last week, the issue of apparent engine performance disparity within the engine freeze was discussed.

so it's not indy... what tracks then? Laguna is too narrow for passing, mid-ohio not exactly the best track... what's that track in atlanta? vir?
street circuits in the US would most likely kill the drivers with all the bumps and stuff...
and kubica has really kinda fallen off the radar even though he's 3rd in the championship...
West Coast?
Laguna Seca or Infinion!
East Coast?
Hmm...VIR? Road Atlanta?
They could go to the older F1 tracks like Watkins Glen? But I don't think they're up to the task of holding a modern day F1 race at all...

he's in the same situation as kimi right now in regards to the 'chip' with a car that can't win races by merit. tbh he was never really in contention after monaco when both ferrari and mclaren started picking up the pace on developments.so it's not indy... what tracks then? As long as it's a track that is fast/sweeing and isn't a concrete forest, I'll be happy

Martin Whitmarsh said:
"Following our decision to register our intention to appeal the penalty handed out to Lewis Hamilton by the FIA Stewards at the 2008 Belgian Grand Prix, we hereby confirm that we have now lodged notice of appeal. Lewis describes the incident as follows."
