Tempted to vote for Koby, but had to vote for Spies as ROY.
I had to vote for LE Tonglet, dude came out and kicked ASS (he won the championship as a rookie!) in Pro Stock Bike, and quite a few times with borrowed parts.

HRT has been put up for sale by its owner, José Ramón Carabante, Spanish newspaper AS reports. The team finds itself in troubled waters after the deal with Toyota failed to materialise due to financial problems.

I think the first part is the real selling point. What a joke, what does the buyer get anyway? An entry into F1 and shitty motorhome?

What a fiasco. I'm starting to wonder if USF1 would have done better if they were granted that 4 race extension.

The struggling HRT team has denied that the team is up for sale despite reports to the contrary from Spanish sports newspaper AS.
Although new investment from former Telefonica boss Juan Villalong has led to talks with other potential investors, no deals have been made.
"Jose Ramon Carabante and his equity partners have put up the team for sale," said AS. "It is evident that if Carabante finds a buyer he will dispose of the team."
Having parted company with partner Toyota Motorsport, the paper added that HRT has been left with "no car, no base, no drivers, no sponsors - only a Cosworth engine."
In reaction to the report, HRT denied that their Spanish owners had put the team up for sale.
"The team is not on sale, we are working for 2011," an HRT spokeswoman said. "Carabante is working on getting sponsors and investors. One Spanish group is interested in joining the team but things are not so easy nowadays in the world."
One fact that is for certain is that HRT is still to confirm its two drivers for 2011 with team boss Colin Kolles stating he is in no rush to announce his decision.
"We are not necessarily in a hurry, the deadline is three days before the first race," Kolles told 422race.com. "The 2011 car? We will have one. And we are in the process of manufacturing it."

wait what?I bet those cars would work perfectly fine if you clean up the diffuser area, clean up the side pods, and add racing slicks for more mechanical grip. Bam. Is it really that hard?

Le Mans organiser the Automobile Club de l'Ouest has confirmed that in 2011 it will be able to adjust the rules during the course of its championships' seasons to prevent any type of car becoming too dominant.
The 'article 19' rule will apply to the new Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, Le Mans Series and American Le Mans Series, and is aimed to solve the long-running issue of petrol-powered cars being unable to compete with the diesel technology that Audi and Peugeot have introduced since 2006. The new regulations intend to keep the top petrol and diesel teams within two per cent of each other's pace.
A statement from the ACO promised the introduction of: "Performance adjustment through the application of article 19 [the ACO reserves itself the possibility of balancing performances between the different engines and technologies] as well as the two per cent rule.
"This means keeping the lap times of the quickest cars in each technology within a range of two per cent in relation to the quickest car, all technologies combined, through decisions taken by the ACO."
The official green light for the rule change will be welcomed by Aston Martin Racing, which has committed to an all-new petrol LMP1 car in the expectation that the regulations would give petrol machinery a chance to fight for outright victory in the 24-hour race again after five seasons of diesel dominance.
In other 2011 adjustments confirmed by the ACO, LMP2 becomes a fully-fledged 'pro-am' category across all the Le Mans championships, with at least one gentleman driver - as assessed under the ACO's driver categorisation - mandatory in each car's line-up.
The GT classes are also being restructured into a single GTE category, split into GTE Am and GTE Pro. The amateur class must include a gentleman driver in each entry, and cars must be at least a year old, whereas GTE Pro is unrestricted, but will feature performance balancing.

If I were a pro driver I wouldn't be too supportive of this pro-am stuff. Imagine you're 20hrs into the race and leading in LMP1 and some 'gentleman racer' in a GT car loses his cool and takes you out of the race when you are trying to put another lap on him.BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....
develop a better car if you can't keep up...

I'd side with Kubica here. "You put WHAT flying projectile in my office?!?"If that was my phone, I'd flip a lid on Kubi if he had thrown it out!
