Took his seat, but so the Indians still show up he gets to race in the Indian GP? What a fucking farce HRT is. Surprised some other established team didn't decide to loan on some young gun to them tho. Smart move by the bulls, and prolly didn't cost them much.
Way to go, Whitmarsh

Who is waiting in the wings at Macca and LRF1? Ferrari have Jules Bianchi that they could have lent out..Ferrai, Macca, Lotus-Renault. Somebody else should have tried to put a young guy in that seat. Maybe they tried, maybe the didn't, but it seems smart to me.

I honestly don't even know who Gary Paffet is (McLaren).
The only real talent on the grid without a race seat I can think of is Nico Hulk, and he'll probably get his drive at FI when Sutil goes to jail.

Summer is ~92F in Indiana, ~110F in Texas. Anyway, Bernie was also the guy who wanted to run the Bahrain GP in August, when its averaging 38C (100.4F). Easy to make those decisions when you're sitting in a nice and comfy air-conditioned VIP box, but drivers have to wear all that nomex for 2hrs without a cool suit and with a helmet on. IMO it would be borderline unsafe to race in those conditions even with the amazing physical endurance the F1 drivers have.
When I was at Melbourne 2-3 years back I think it hit 41 on race day, no-one seemed to mind except the fans

As well as the McLaren tie-up, Virgin Racing has also purchased the business of Wirth Racing Technologies and its facilities in Banbury to provide a technical base for its future.

I concur. these guys are racers, and sometimes they will make a mistake while making a pass. As long as it's not intentional, let them race FFS...would we prefer them to NOT take the risk and just follow in a big long line?
Sorry, punting off two people in one afternoon isn't racing. Same goes for his Canada trip

He wasn't punished because of ruining his own chances...he was punished because his aggressivenesss hurt others on the grid.
