I was really hoping they would crash each other out last year and maybe a little fighting in the garage from time to time but oh well.

No, but I did read The Mechanic's Tale last month and would highly recommend it, especially if you have an interest in the late 80's/early 90's F1 history. Based on this book, I would also read Steve's other books.

The Mechanics Tale is a great read. I bought it at the same time with Grand Prix Saboteurs and i couldnt put either book down till i finished them..

i was under the impression he was being groomed for the role in the future. my only issue with Todt is that its a little early as he is still severing himself from Ferrari. I think he will be great, but it just might be a bit too soon. Whoever steps in next better not enjoy it to much bc reguardless of who it is, Todt will replace them in the near future.

Todt has proven to be a great organiser etc but I simply cannot see him becoming FIA President in the near future simply due to hs previous employment at Ferrari.

Could you imagine the shit-storm that would happen if it were to happen?

IMO Todt would be totally objective and unbiased, but if there were to be issues, his objectivity would always be questioned.
