More shocking that they'd have Rick Astley, or that he's by far the best act?

I don't know how TV/cable is in Europe, but the way I read it is that F1 will effectively be on Sky, but you don't have to pay more to watch it as long as you already get Sky. No different than the races being on Speed in the US, which is 'pay-to-view' cable, vs free network TV like FOX/NBC/ABC/CBS.http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/93491

It sucks, but I don't think it'll kill F1 in Europe by a long shot.

Well that explains why RBR is not winning anymore. Having extra people in your 'armour' just weighs you down, regardless of ethnicity.

Carry it on?My dad wants to go to Spa next summer. His good friend lives not far away in Luxembourg and we could stay there first before the grand prix and then do something closer for the race and then visit some other parts of Europe. I wonder if taking my 500mm lens is possible, gonna be a big thing to ship and I'm not sure if I trust it on an airplane.

In other news, has anyone heard of F1 drivers bitching about radiation levels at Suzuka and them boycotting the race? Seems to me like the MotoGP boys are a buncha pussies to me right about now...

In the motog[ boys defense, the same amount of radiation will hurt a 110lb man more than a 135lb manGEEZUS. I WANT. No solutions for you tho, mate. I dont' have anything longer than 200mm...but I guess you could do check-in and pray. That's what other photogs have to do

Isn't Motegi alot closer to the radiation than Suzuka? In the motog[ boys defense, the same amount of radiation will hurt a 110lb man more than a 135lb man

Yes, but the radiation levels at Motegi have been shown to be no more than background levels so it is a moot point.Isn't Motegi alot closer to the radiation than Suzuka?
Measurements of radiation ingestion/inhalation/absorption at Motegi showed levels of less than 30µSv per week. For reference, the WORLD AVERAGE natural level (read: background radiation) is 46µSv per week. So basically they might even be better off at Motegi than their own homes.

It's not that the riders are pussies, because we can see them dragging knees at 120mph weekly. They're just fucking dumb and buy into this media bullshit. "OMGZ radiation was detected somewhere after some crisis!!! run for your radiation bunkerz!"
