Most Modern racecar designs look goofy as hell to me.
Does this look silly to anyone else

Well now we know where the money is going at HRT and its not their cars. They just hired Juan Mari Arzak to cater all the races for them, dude has had 3 michelin stars since 1989.

So he'll stop cooking at the last minute because his food is unsafe?

You been to the wrong places then. Blue Hill at Stone Barns doesn't leave you feeling hungry since its like 10 amuse bouche and then 8 courses. Each course isn't too big but when you have that many its enough.
I ate there for the first time last year. Wow that was good. Pricey, so not something you could do every week but real good. The have their own label bourbon as well that was real good.

Really? Last time I ate there was March 2011 and they didn't mention anything about it, but I was having the wine pairing so I guess that would have been excessive.I ate there for the first time last year. According to this I was wrong, it was whiskey not bourbon, but in any case it was real good. I had it on the rocks and they gave me a large perfectly formed rectangle of ice that sat in the bottom of the glass that melted just enough to bring out the flavors without watering it down too much.

I just started my local group's, so I figured I'd ask on here as well since I hadn't noticed it mentioned yet (and they're sending me emails).

To up the ante this year, if we can get 10 teams (excluding my own teams), I will add $50 to the pot.

Vitaly Petrov will race with the Caterham team during the 2012 season, taking Jarno Trulli's place at the squad, it was confirmed on Friday.
The Russian had been linked with the outfit for several weeks despite the veteran Italian having a contract with the team he had raced for since the 2010 season.
Petrov was left without a racing drive after Renault - now Lotus - signed Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean for the 2012 season.
The 27-year-old from Vyborg, Russia, will partner Heikki Kovalainen at Caterham.

I'm pretty apathetic on that news.http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/97552
Trulli hasn't impressed me with anything I can recall, has been obviously handled by Hekki, and whines constantly. He did nothing but take up space on the grid.
Meanwhile, Petrov has some pretty high profile failures, and we all know he bought that seat.
One mediocre driver swapped for another. I'd be more impressed if they had dropped Trulli for Sutil, or even Boobens.

Still have no idea why Lotus dumped petrov for grosjean. I can't imagine grosjean brings in more $ for the seat, was it purely to keep renault happy?

But I think Grosjean is a paid driver to boot...maybe his GP2 drive really impressed Lotus?

Grosjean is sponsored by Total, who has some decent sized ads on the new Lotus. They're also an oil partner, so perhaps they needed the cash and the R&D muscle.Petrov brings more pace than trulli and has a good shot at giving kovi some issues this year. Speed and sponsors? Seems like a no brainer for Caterham.

I don't have the race itself, but the Wikipedia entries usually have a decent play by play of the races.Anyone have the 2009 Australian GP? I want to see how dominant the Brawns were at the beginning of the season. I really don't remember old seasons that well.
Out front, Button was beginning to establish a lead of over four seconds by the time he set the fastest lap on lap six, with a lap of 1:28.787
