Really reckless move IMHO, hammy hate aside.I think it was pretty dangerous of him to try and spin it right there and then without waiting for traffic to clear.
I don't believe for one second that he 'didn't see PDR'. He was almost facing the chicane after the spin and didn't even wait to check for clear road before stomping on the gas and spinning it around.

The man train in the end was pretty behind Banzai.
Then Rosberg comes and demolishes them all in like 5 corners

Absolutely love when Jens pulls tortoise to hammy's hare, great race.

You could see it pushing through the corners big time on the inters, didn't seem near as bad on the slicks...

I don't think so at all really. All he has to do is keep finishing with a solid points paying position not taking stupid risks while all his competitors take turns winning and he just increases his lead.Jenson is now my uno driver. I love watching him race, he's not a toolbag and he's the underdog no one can really hate...and he's just buttery smooth. What a great race. Vettel's def. starting to show the cracks in his armor. Which is nice...I hate robots

Planet-F1 makes a great point on the Hamilton penalty - he was on the racing line when he was facing the wrong way, so had he not made the spin turn then he would have forced 3 cars off the track rather than 1.
Also no investigations of Renault for releasing Heidfeld's bomb car nor Ambrosio for stunt parking into his pit crew.
Wonder what exploded in the Renault - perhaps a radiator? Or perhaps a battery pack of the KERS?

Big win for Vettel really, as Button is still 5th in the championship.

I think drivers would rather a stationary road block than one moving across the width of the track. The other drivers could have easily driven around him if he was sitting still.
Ambrosio's stunt park was but if anything was to blame it was the pit lane speed limit. The speed limit is supposed to prevent that kind of thing isn't it?
My 2 cents.

IIRC Kovalainen passed Hamilton just fine, then he spun around to make Di Resta shit his pants.I think drivers would rather a stationary road block than one moving across the width of the track. The other drivers could have easily driven around him if he was sitting still.

That or he is just being defensive, his last lap was very close to fastest lap of the race easily 2 a 3 seconds faster than anyone else other than hammy.

I had a weird dream in which Hamilton jumped ship to Ferrari
I had a dream I was talking to Frank Williams for 3 hours...and kept having to explain why he was in a wheelchair to passersby.

He moved the car for the first two, then spun it around when DiResta was coming through, although there was honestly enough room left for Paul to make it through on the track (just).

I think he's in "I can't really do much if I'm not out front" mode.
I wonder if Seb is in "no risks, no mistakes" mode.
He's NEVER been standout in traffic.
