$5 says haas goes with Honda - they both need a lot of track time before next season and with the cars being so different, I don't think it'll do much good to drop it in last year's Macca.

The driver's cockpit of Stewart's car would be as wide as the side pods of the RB11.Obviously Chevy needs to join in with Haas for F1, maybe poach ole Tony Stewart. I'd watch the fuck out of that.

Not F1 related, but looks like Bridgestone fucked up the tires at CotA this past weekend for motogp. I wouldn't exactly call this blistering...
Scott Reddings front tire
Rossi wasn't as bad, but still not pretty

I love racing, I race myself in my spare time. I spend probably 20 or 22 weekends at the track last year and I attended the 24 hours of Daytona sleeping at the track and trying to learn as much as I could. It's not Formula One, but I love racing, I love continuous improvement, challenging a team to give a better car and get as much as we can from the track.

Axis of Oversteer has an article on how MB powerplants also have a clutched turbo shaft, thereby disconnecting the turbine side when the compressor side is spun up via the electric magic motors. The reduced mass means reduced turbo lag. Brilliant! This is the stuff that F1 should be about - I can really see this coming down to production cars eventually.
