I get the impression that Perez is not going to be able to hit those numbers

 

edit:

so in the next 2 races (Hungary and Belgium), Perez has to:

- outscore Max Verstappen by 37 points
- not lose more than 7 points to Russel
- not lose more than 8 points to Hamilton

A great nail biter of a Belgian GP.

I was totally not expecting Russel to pull that 1 stopper - and he totally messed up my Fantasy F1 result by getting disqualified because I really struggled with picking between Mercedes and Ferrari before the race but ended up picking Mercedes

I'm guessing Mercedes themselves didn't expect the 1 stop to be possible and therefore didn't include that possibility in their post race car weight calculations

A shame to see Sainz end up at Williams rather than Red Bull or Mercedes. He deserved better based on his performances I think.

 

Amazed that Red Bull still haven't kicked Perez to the curb.

Didnt have Sainz to Williams. Figured at least a mid-pack team if not Mercedes. :/ hopefully he doesnt disappear like Botas.

Wow McLaren really is working hard to not win the WDC and WCC.

 

They let their drivers fight, resulting in Norris losing out not just to Piastri but also Leclerc  on the first lap.

Then later they even got Norris back ahead of Leclerc, and could still have had a 1/2, but told their drivers to race each other, leading to them pushing too much to fight each other and needing a 2nd stop.

 

Already in Hungary McLaren should have prioritized Norris but they swap them around with the argument that Norris will need Piastri later on.
