Hamilton, Alonso, and Kimi are all great fodder for the blog though. :mamoru:

damn the FIA is fucking useless...

on the subject of movable ballasts (i.e J-dampers):

same fucking wording that was around before the whole mass damper saga in '06. so why the hell is mclaren's system not deemed a movable aero device? :mamoru:

on the subject of movable aero devices:

yet they havent introduced anything to examine mcflex.

the FIA rules have too many loopholes. hope next year this shit becomes more simple and get all teams to be equal.....briatoris quote claims that all teams are running it he doesnt say what it is but rumors are that its the j-damper ...when the FIA spygate thing happened in the courtroom mclaren revealed they use the j-damper and according to the french press renault was afraid to use it after mclaren filed action against them so they didn't introduce it until now....

Hamilton's hand gestures towards Fisichella, mostly due to my previous feelings, made me think Hamilton was "looking down" on Fisichella. It seemed to me that Hamilton would probably believe that he "belonged" in front of Fisichella because he was "better" than him.

You don't think it was just frustration?

If nothing else, you're reading WAY too into it to see something that you already wanted to.

So simply because he has more second places he is automatically a better driver and 'beat' Alonso last year????

Wow, talk about pulling straws to put down Alonso...:mamoru:

Don't talk to us, talk to the FIA and F1 for how they determine the winner in a tie.

Hamilton scored as many points as Alonso and was classified higher, despite it being his rookie F1 season

that's enough to put him just above Alonso in the ranking IMO

I hated Alonso but there is no doubt in my mind the guy is perfect to replace Schumacher.
I think Ferrari would love to see 2 world champions driving for them, provided Massa doesn't win it this year and Kimi does, could be an epic battle of 2-time WDC fighting it out every race. :mamoru:

BTW Who sponsors Alonso and how would that work out with Ferrari?

Dude, there's a difference between someone I think sees themselves as "better" than everyone else doing it, and someone just being frustrated. :mamoru:

Senna was like that. He felt it was his divine fate to win every race and was quite unhappy when he did not.

I think I said as much in my later posts. My pre-existing feelings about Hamilton did jade my opinion of his actions last race. It's not the action that infuriates me, but what I perceive to be Hamilton's attitude behind it.

As for your point, see: Anything Toyota Does in Nacho's Eyes.

Then I would have probably thought he was a douchecanoe too.

That was before I was a fan of F1 though, so I can't say.

Shut up douchecanoe...oh wait, my bad. :mamoru:
Senna used to throw fits when he didn't win -- was before my time but that's what I've read.
Hamilton doesn't exhibit the same behavior since he apologizes to the team.

i just think the british media is dumb and to blame. nigel mansell was a little bitch, and british media loved his ass.

It's a very fine line...lotta people call me cocky. Lotta people call me confident. It's all a big game of perception. and he doesn't seem cocky to me. :mamoru:

Thats part of a racer mentality. my group of friends and i were really fast at local autoxes and track events in shitty, cheap cars. We kinda acted arrogant and cocky, but we were fast. You kind of need it to be fast.

I am accused of being cocky pretty often, but its usally only people that are mad at me for being better than them. People on the same level as myself just call it confidence...

I have no hate for Lewis.

I hate the media sackriding. The bias of the British / English media and ITV coverage is absolute pathetic with their jingoistic bandwagoning of Hamilton.

Considering he was given a silver spoon by leaping into the best car on the grid etc etc....

thats the thing that turns me off about lewis... good god, the british media are just retarded for him.

I think alot of that has to do with his death. That adds alot of mystique to a driver. Add a decade or two and you have a legend.

:mamoru:

Emo is hateable for his complaining, teh pit shenanigans, dethroning a legend.

Louise is hateable for his smugness, the rabid british sackriding, the free pass he got by the press after literally tossing the WDC into the dirt.

Kimi can be criticized for his non-team oriented, easy going to a fault manner, but I don't think very many people hate him for it.

Regardless, fuck them all, I wanna see the quiet guys from munich embarrass everyone this season.

@ kngrsll - yeah man. Let me dig it out and take some pics of it.

And yeah, the racer mentaility better be cocky. But it bleeds into the rest of life. A lot of my confidence comes from racing, and when i tackle a normal work week, i just kick ass at everything else too. some call me cocky....and i love that they call me that, b/c I know i'm not. I'm confident bitches!
