Uh oh... Kubica's fiance saying his condition has worsened although his life's not in danger: http://planet-f1.com...h-Has-Worsened-
Kind of hard to imagine having an arm damn-near-amputated by a piece of rusty armco and NOT getting a horrible infection of some sort.

What does Fernando Alonso think of his rivals on the Formula One grid? Who does he rate as the "fastest" or who is "calm and consistent"?
Alonso was asked by Spanish paper AS to give his opinion on his Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa, current World Champion Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber, McLaren duo Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton as well seven-time Champion Michael Schumacher.
Two-time Champion Alonso described Vettel as follows: "Very fast. Very fast and accurate. If he starts first in a race it is difficult to stop him."
Mark Webber, who finished third in the Drivers' Championship last year is "experienced, calm and consistent. It is very difficult to see him fail."
Alonso believes his former McLaren team-mate Hamilton is "a great driver and the fastest of the current Formula One grid" while Button "has a great instinct for difficult races in the rain or with the safety car in the dry".
As for Schumacher, Alonso says "he is the champion, we all respect him and he is a driver capable of surprising".
And his views on his team-mate Massa?
"Very quickly, he knows the team, he started with Sauber, but is now with Ferrari and very hungry to win."

It's good to see Alonso being straight.

It's only during the championship does he get emo...but I think most drivers are like that, plus the media doesn't help either. Today, everybody is a reporter that has a smartphone and twitter.
It's good to see Alonso being straight.

I think that Bobert is still mad about that year at BMW where he claimed the team focused on getting Nick up to speed.Kubica wants Liuzzi as replacement, not Heidfeld
Stop with the cockblocking man.

Kubi should stfu, never once did you hear about Massa wanting some driver over another as his replacement. Bob is part of a team, and if his teammates decide a person is a good fit during a trial that Bob wasn't at and has no knowledge of, he should be supportive of their decisions.

I would've started liking Lotus Renault at least a little bit

I'm gonna go ahead and have to disagree with you on this one:Sauber > Lotus Renault
Heidfeld confirmed at Renault

you know, as much as i'm happy for Nick, which is a great replacement for Kubica, i'm not really a quick nick fan... he doesn't do anything for me...
If it's between Nick and Sato, I'll always cheer more for Sato regardless if Nick is a faster/better driver... same with kubica, doesn't do anything for me...
