What if this is Nico's year?
I don't think he'll beat Hamilton over a season like that... don't see it happening.
I think we might see the true pace of the Merc's tomorrow... see how long Hamilton will take going from the back of the field to challenging for the podium*
*assuming he's not taken out or has a mechanical

Yeah, was a fun race to watch! Just wonder how the Red cars had done had they not gotten into each other...

Perceived shittier car? I don't get it either.. The '05-'06 Renault was no slouch.I don't understand how Alonso is higher than both Vettel and Schumi...
Vettel's run was aided by superior car, don't think any other car on the grid could match the raw pace of the RBR. Schumi's 2000-2004 run was definitely aided by a superior car except maybe the one BMW year where they were pretty competitive but inconsistent. I'd say Ferrari had car superiority from 1999-2004, and Schumi would have had '99 except for the broken leg and missing a handful of races. Hell, even Irvine almost won a chip in the F399.

I think they're judging it based on raw talent...and they probably are taking into account Alonso's results in the Ferrari during Vettel's 4 WDC runs where Alonso consistently came within points of the WDC while his team-mates (Massa & Kimi) were no where near him.

Alo has clearly beaten every teammate with the exception of hambone. But vettel hasn't been made to look bad by anyone,

Did the Honda finish enough races last year to make that determination?

I picked up my laptop after the 3rd or 4th lap...
And that was the end of the thrilling... all the action was lap 1 or 2...
