charlie_whiting Giving consideration to sending Alonso to GP2 for his ignorant gesturing to Petrov. Learn about class from your teammate #F1

What a race, what a season.

I was nervously fidgeting so much on the couch after the first pit rotation, my dog got annoyed and went outside

SO happy to see someone win it who deserves it.

I was honestly on the fence about alonso until Germany.

Take down the evil schumi
Go to macca and complain about your teammate :ugh2:
Grow a beard to piss off Ron Dennis :bowrofl:
Go back to renault and stabilize the team
Whinge about your teammate not letting you pass in a race :madfawk:
Flip off a guy, who is fighting for a drive next year, for not giving up a points paying position to you Posted Image

So he got poor old felipe to let him pass, now he expects EVERYONE to let him pass?

 @ Heikki

Man what an awesome season...although the ending was awesome, I still can't help but think that there could be better actual w2w action. I hope whatever rule changes they bring next season, brings the cars closer. Vettel running away while Lewis & Jenson falling back like that made the race a tad boring on its own. It was only the championship fight that made watching it nerve-wrecking...

technically there was only 1 on track pass for the front runners...
if it wasn't the season finale decider, it was actually a parade of a race

The Schumi/Liuzzi wreck and subsequent crazy pit strategies made the race, and the championship.

I'm rather disappointed in Webbo for this one, but it fully vindicated RBR's decision to not put all their hopes on one driver. I'm just glad team orders didn't win a(nother) championship.

i was going to be happy no matter who won today cause i like all three of the contenders, but i kinda feel like alonso deserved it more. the RBR guys had a car in a class of its own for the entire season and somehow managed to fuck it up every weekend. vettel is fast, but he has a lot of growing up to do (so does webber, actually). alonso took a mediocre car and drove the wheels off of it. he made up a big points deficit and never gave up. i gotta respect that.

aaand next season we're back to KERS. GROANNN

BS. Vettel acts like a spoiled kid every now and again (more often than not), but if it weren't for mechanical failures Vettel would have had ~9 victories this year. Speed is one thing and reliability is another. If Red Bull had the speed, Ferrari had reliability.

Alonso didn't even deserve 2nd place

 look at those buttcramps

I guess he didn't deserve 2nd place with how fast RBR has been all year :)

"I just want to be champion myself. I don't think he needs to say thank you, because I did not do this for him, and I didn't want to disturb Fernando - I just wanted to do my job.

"But maybe I should have asked on my team radio, please ask Vettel how much he wants to pay me to help, and then we go to Ferrari and ask them the same too. Then whoever gives the most, we see!"

This is how he gets his budget

Webber acted like a spoiled child more imo, how many times did he complain about being #2 publically?

petrov was a better teammate to vettel than webber ever was.

i couldn't believe webber wouldn't pass alonso trying to prevent vettel from winning the wdc.
