I was sorta surprised about Vettels car being fine too after hitting Button. I thought his wheels looked like they were at odd angles.great race and didn't do anything but make me miss Belgium even more.

Odd isn't it...how when a brazilian punts a spaniard there's no punishment, but a german takes out a brit and the english steward decides it was reckless.I hate that Vettel punted Button, but his drive through was bullshit... You can tell in the video and especially the replays that it was a racing incident...

What would you do to Rubens, make him retire again?Odd isn't it...how when a brazilian punts a spaniard there's no punishment, but a german takes out a brit and the english steward decides it was reckless.

If an action is worth a drivethourgh, wouldn't the same action deserve a 5-spot grid penalty? What would you do to Rubens, make him retire again?

Mansell didn't hand down the penalty personally.

I still don't think it should have been a penaltyWhitmarsh says more penalty needed for skittle
he would say that, but I agree. Skittle been crashing too much with others and way too reckless when it comes to defending and driving people into walls.

Meh, EVERYONE went long on their braking in that corner. If an action is worth a drivethourgh, wouldn't the same action deserve a 5-spot grid penalty?
I'm also not saying I necessarily agree with Seb's penalty.

AmI the only person that thought he lost control because he hit a wet patch?

That's exactly what it looked like to me.

so how can he get penalized for causing an accident? It not like he was deliberate, it was just a racing incident....
I'm really not happy with the stewards, but at least they have been better than years past.

According to Jenson the corner was bone dry. Looks like he jinked from inside to out too late and with too much speed.
this.

There should have been no penalty. You can't have the sport re-writing rules and spending billions to increase passing on one hand, then penalize people for trying to pass but failing on the other. This is profoundly retarded hypocrisy.
Mr.300GPs is as much at fault as Vettel is. Everyone in the media bitching over Vettel causing the accident between him and the Force India at the bus stop - mad fail.

furthermore, Fred's Ferrari somehow survived the impact while Jens had to retire

It's not like bubens didn't know it was raining...he should have been more careful.the bubens crash was a first lap incident in wet conditions on slick tyres, skittle losing control and hitting button was 100% his own doing
furthermore, Fred's Ferrari somehow survived the impact while Jens had to retire
