Something I find interesting this year is with the fuel weights published there are always pre-race predictions about when people will pit. While they are generally accurate regarding the order of the pitstops Ive seen a graph on pff1 forums that showed that infact the actual predictions are way off and some engines are notably thirstier than others.

I will try to find the chart again.


I bring this up because there are a lot of comments about Alonso being on fumes and stopping on lap13 (70 lap race) and while he is clearly the lightest I think he will stop lap 16-18 not 13 as predicted.
