Perhaps Mosely's flipping out will cause the teams to reconsider shelving their breakaway series plans.

in my opinion, FOTA teams leave F1, they take everything about the sport with them. Except the name ofcourse...

I think a breakaway series is thre best thing for the sport right now. I understand everyone is comparing this to the situation of open wheel racing in the states, but really? how is that even a comparison. This is F1 we're talking about. the pinnacle of motor sports (sorry yonson, Nascar is not
).

Whoa, whoa, whoa, don't be putting words in my mouth, I in NO WAY think NASCRAP is the pennacle of anything, except for maybe drawing rednecks... F1 is top dog no doubt, and I'd put NHRA ahead of NASCRAP ay day...

derringer?
um I don't actually know much about guns.....
my only reference is from what I've shot before, which is a .22 rifle (single shot) and a .306 rifle which is similar to the sniper rifle they used in Vietnam.
obviously I know the standard hand guns, like the 1911 and the Glock too, but never shot hang guns before.

A derringer is a term used to describe any small (typically) single shot pocket pistol, often in .22 caliber.
The rifle I have, is identical to the USMC's M40 sniper rifle, which has been in service more or less since Vietnam. It's a short-action Remington Model 700 in .308 Winchester (7.62x51 NATO) caliber.

Motogp this weekend
I hate to say this... but I hope Rossi doesn't win...
and I say that because Laguna is next weekend, I'll be there, and I want him to do the 100th win there
I hope it's Stoner > Rossi > Lorenzo this weekend... and Rossi next weekend
don't forget it's WSBK this weekend at Donnington Park as well

Does Laguna put up a good race like Catayulna does? I remember seeing Zanardi pass Herta at the Corkscrew, that was pretty amazing. Or Rossi on Casey last year(?).
But what about the entire thing?

sure? I dunno how to answer that... it's not a boring track, even the front straight isn't straight (curves while going over a crest which leads to turn one)... and Laguna Seca was the race of 2008... sooo...
When I worked last year at Laguna, that crest/curve was known as "Turn Zero" on our track map for workers...

1 week into the 3 week break and I'm already bored.
The month long break after Hungary is going to be painful.
Added to the fact that the Hungary race itself will be probably about as painful as the month break after it.

I guess I was asking if the racing was close - but I kinda answered my own question

Am I the only one that thinks Laguna Seca looks like an outline of Bart Simpson?

After the car won three-quarters of every race so far under the 2009 regulations, Alex Wurz has revealed the secret of the Brawn BGP 001.
At times last year, the team's predecessor Honda had five wind tunnels at its disposal, according to Germany's Auto Motor und Sport, as well as a half-billion euro budget.
"The car was taken in three different directions in the wind tunnel," test driver Wurz told News. "Two directions were found to be wrong, so the team could just switch."
Amid the shock of the global economic situation, Honda then pulled out and the Brackley team was rescued by a management buyout headed by Ross Brawn.
"The Brawn is probably the most expensive car with the lowest operating budget ever," the Austrian admitted.
Wurz meanwhile gives Sebastian Vettel ‘ten out of ten’ for dominating last time out at Silverstone, but doubts Red Bull will have it so easily for the remainder of the season.
"I would say that Brawn and Red Bull are at eye-level, and success from now on will depend on the circuits."
Wonder if what happened to Ferrari/McLaren this year will happen to Brawn next year

Neat to hear that confirmed by someone on the inside.Wonder if what happened to Ferrari/Brawn this year will happen to Brawn next year
I'd say brawn would be lucky to be in the midfield next season.
