Nice job by Hulkenberg!
He's got to be in a shot at one of the Haas or Alfa seats, right? Tho at this point it seems the Williams seat might be a better option

So the 2 Mercedes customer teams Williams and McLaren dropped their appeals against the Racing Point case. That's some BS. For sure Mercedes threatened them behind the scenes.

Also, speaking of F1 and Hamilton... dude has been at the sharp end of F1 for 13 years, basically since his debut. He’ll have every modern record broken by next season at this rate.

Pretty nuts that Pouhon is flat now. Even with the F2004 it was taken with 2 downshifts.

This was by far the most boring race at Spa in recent history. P1-3 didn't switch positions all race?Pretty nuts that Pouhon is flat now. Even with the F2004 it was taken with 2 downshifts.

I love Spa, probably my favorite track on the F1 calendar, but this weekend was meh. It's a Mercedes/Max show, and watching Ferrari fail so bad this season isn't helping... there is not a single team that can take the fight week in, week out to Mercedes, and with the development freeze, next year isn't going to be any better.

At some point TV ratings have to suffer. This isn't fun, competitive, or exciting and hasn't been for a while.

Mercedes blocked the reverse grid format proposal. Hopefully with the new Concorde agreement which doesn't require unanimous agreement, they can push it through.

Yeah, I've pretty much "quit" watching at this point. I mean I still watch the races live (95% or them at least) but other than the opening lap(s) I'm usually doing something else and it's background noise. This is Formula 1's fault too, they could open up the development for the other teams to at least let them TRY and catch the Mercedes... This year and next are both automatic wins for Mercedes and certainly Lewis. Ohhh well, I'll just continue to watch MotoGP which has been SOLID this year!

MotoGP's indeed done a much much better job of creating a level playing field.
Also, surprising no one, new owners of Williams are changing the management.

The only surprise was Claire stepping down so soon... I thought she'd finish out the season before handing things over instead of mid-season...
Other than that, not surprising, I hope they do well, it's a shame watching Williams struggle so much.

The new Alpine branding looks awesome...
Great race this weekend... interesting to see the Mercs struggle in traffic, and Failrari

If Stroll couldn't win from that position then I don't know...

I'd be surprised if Perez doens't find a seat elsewhere.
I'm hoping Schumacher starts winning more races so he replaces Giovinazzi.

He has been one of the most consistent driver in F2 since August, if it weren't for such bad races in the Red Bull ring he'd probably be leading.

Is little Schumi actually good or is it because his name that he's a big deal? I haven't seen anything F2 races and I haven't watched a GP2 race in years...

I had the impression that in both F4 and F3 his first season would be nothing special, before something clicking halfway through his 2nd season after which he often took a string of wins to then win the title at the end of the championship. I believe it's turned out a bit similar in F2, although it's still to be seen whether he will win the championship or not - but he's not far off the lead
