Here is a quick video of the crash... doesn't look bad at all, nothing worse than what you see in any race...
i guess that tire bounced off his head perfectly enough to knock him out though

Really really sad, knowing something so random can impact so much. I imagine the force from the tyre is what killed him and not the ensuing accident?

Looks like Kimi may be retiring in a few months. Kinda
about it. It was fun cheering for his drunken antics, but it seems like he's been slacking off lately.

"Henry was driving at about 120mph between Westfield and Sheene corners on lap nine of the race when he was struck on the head by a bouncing wheel and tyre from an accident at Westfield corner several seconds earlier. It is clear that Henry was knocked unconscious immediately, and his car then continued straight on, hitting the tyre wall. I understand that the fatal injury occurred instantly and that the impact at Sheene had no influence on the outcome of the accident.

How much does a race rim and tire weigh? Lets say it weighs as much as a F1 rim/tire combo at 11kg for a rear tire. Traveling pretty much tangential to Henry at the time of impact the 120mph (53m/s) impact would have delivered easily more energy than ten .44 Magnum bullets.Yikes!

with USF1 saying they want american drivers... I seriously don't know what pool they're going to be pulling from...
VJ's time is done... back marker, or low mid fielder at best...

I was reading an article about how if Seb, a 4 time champ, a former F3000 champ, LeMans driver, can't cut it... what american racing series driver stands a chance to make a dent in F1?

Marco Andretti I think has been ementioned before...I don't really follow Indy, are there any other americans in their early 20s doing well?
Formula BMW doesn't have that many americans...
