Watching the ITV quali now ...
You know what pisses me off?
Adrian Newey talking about bodywork update (aka aero updates).
There is no emphasis on mechanical grip, or engine work, or suspension geometry changes...just aero work. This is what F1 has come down to. Kinda sad...

All I got was a frozen picture and no sound for 1hr and a half.
Is there anywhere that I can watch qualifying?

WOW!! what a Q3!!! i fucking love F1...
I think Kubica is going to be very strong tomorrow!! I hope Alonso can keep up the pace, and that massa pulls his usual antics
Kimi, probably going to be untouchable. only hope is to give him a big gap so he falls asleep and goes off
ah!! ive got DVR, but im getting up to watch this one live!!
Here's hoping for a wet race!
That'll throw the cat amongst the pigeons. First DNF would definitely be Felipe...

And preicsely why the FIA are trying to bring in these new rules all the time limiting what you can do with the car aerodynamically. There MUST be more emphasis on other facets of the car other than aerodynamics.
They wonder why there's little passing a lot of the time...

The usual for Trulli.
More points, though, if he continues how he has been driving.

In for Ferrari, BMW, Renault, McLaren battle 'till the end of the season...
Asking too much?
If Renault keep their improvements, then yes.
But it all depends on whether that qualifying result was a flash in the pan, or a genuine move forward...

McLaren invite neighbours over
By Jonathan Noble Thursday, April 24th 2008, 17:05 GMT
McLaren's motorhome in SpainSuper Aguri and Force India were invited to meet their new neighbours on Thursday when McLaren opened their doors for a tea party for their next-door teams.
With McLaren having been relegated to the bottom end of the pitlane, the Woking-based team used the first European race to invite members from the two outfits that line up next to them over for a bit of a get together.
Around 40 people duly turned up for tea and cakes at McLaren's Brand Centre, including Anthony Davidson, Giancarlo Fisichella, Mike Gascoyne, Ian Phillips and a number of engineers, mechanics and marketing people from both teams.
Matt Bishop, McLaren's group head of Communications and Public Relations, said: "The lads and lasses of Super Aguri and Force India are a great bunch, so we thought we'd invite them round for a cup of tea and a few slices of cake. About 20 people from each team turned up, and the vibe was really friendly."
Super Aguri's Davidson said he had been left wide-eyed by the size of the Brand Centre - and the drinks on offer.
"It was the first time I'd been inside the famous 'Brand Centre', and I was very impressed," he said. "And the apple juice was delicious - I gather it's produced to Ron Dennis's personal specification."
No doubt some ass-kissing going on or 'hey look how big we are' but shows that it's not all skullduggery in the pitlane.

Looking at the times, I reckon there was definitely pace in the Renault cars this weekend, can only hope its not all light fuel loads. If Renault keep their improvements, then yes.
But it all depends on whether that qualifying result was a flash in the pan, or a genuine move forward...

Anthony Davidson has admitted it has been hard to stay focussed on racing this weekend as his troubled Super Aguri team fight for their future.
Super Aguri only got the green light to compete in the Spanish Grand Prix on Friday morning, when Honda agreed to bankroll their weekend.
And amid the uncertainty over their future, as discussions with potential investors continue, Davidson has not shied away from revealing how tough things have been for him.
"On Friday it was really hard to find motivation," said Davidson. "To get out there and just do a professional job was tough. I think I can safely say that this has been the hardest weekend of my life, in racing. Absolutely.
"You wonder whether this will be the last one. It would be quite fitting if this would be the last place that I ever turned a wheel in a Formula One car, because I have turned so many laps around here. It does get to you, and when the future is uncertain, like in any job, in anything in life, it gets to you eventually."
Although lack of development and testing has left Super Aguri pegged to the back of the grid, Davidson said it was 'amazing' that he was able to get within one tenth of Adrian Sutil's Force India car in qualifying.
"Qualifying was really good. To get that lap out of the car, and to get so close to Sutil was amazing, really. It's amazing. You guys only really know half the story with this car - it has been chopped about, it has got holes in it where there shouldn't be for cooling ... you name it, it's been done to the car. It's really a tough challenge to drive."
And he slammed other drivers who have been critical of the Super Aguri drivers for not being cooperative when being lapped in the races.
"I know that there are some drivers out there who complain about Super Aguris holding them up out there under blue flags, but you can hardly see what is going on because the car is shaking around so much, and you're fully focussed on just keeping the damn thing on the track.
"The last thing you can do is be bothered with people who are about to lap you. They can all shut right up in my mind, because I'd love to swap cars with them.
"And also – I'm trying not to get aggressive about this – can you imagine if there were some drivers who were paying to be here, driving these cars? Then you would see some chaos. So I think me and Taku are doing a damn good job, thank you very much."
Davidson = boss!
