anyone have more details on exactly what they are doing to the track overnight? im no civil engineer, but the recommended hardening time for asphalt is around 3 days (enough for public transport use). it takes months to fully cure..

yep I think the problem will be back tomorrow again after 10-15 laps.....Its pretty stupid they wasted over 4 million to get it fixed for this year and they couldn't do the resurfacing correctly

KR: I think it's the same as it has been for maybe the last three or four years. It always seems to break up and they always promise to fix it and the same happens again. I don't know. Maybe they should find some other people from somewhere else to fix the circuit.

Nothing happening on the ITV link atm - though I think usually they do have something on 15-20 minutes before the race? Is this race also being shown on speed? Got TVU player up and it's all about drag racing. wtf.

My local fox affiliate is broadcasting the race, so I guess I get to watch it in HD from my TV. Going to go set up the laptop.
