But damn, prices are insane :squint:

honda jacked up prices coz they know they've just lost all the money that weigl (sp?) was gonna back for Aguri.

It is only insane if you don't deal in pounds. And unfortunately those prices has been the same for the past few years.

p.s. more Fry hatred and (previously revealed here) revelations from behind closed doors have been published at some of the news sites now. :squint:

and here are some pictures from outside of Honda's HQ during the Super Aguri spontaneous support rally:

As if I needed another reason to hate Honda :squint:

Nick Fry is an asshole. Fuck all these stupid political agendas in F1.

Woobens gets a CBR1000RR for his 257th race...that seems just a tad anti-climatic. :squint:

Sato is cut from the same thread as Fisi - great at smaller, underdog teams, not so hot at teams where the pressure is really on you...he really grew up after BAR, and was at SA. Lets be honest, how many of you guys thought SA was a joke, for a 'at the moment' joke driver. Why else did we all call him "Satowned" -- it's not because he wasn't a great driver, but he made a lot of dumb mistakes by pushing too hard with his kamikaze attack style of driving. And when SA was created, I'm pretty sure a lot of us felt it was Honda just covering their ass for the Japanese market since Sato is so huge over there.

Truth is tho, Sato has refined himself and proved himself a damn good driver - so I think he def. deserves a ride somewhere...

Very well put. I think that's why everyone was so taken by their success....literally like the bad news bears with sato playing the role of a (feminine and asian) tanner.

Up for grabs was a bespoke winner’s trophy designed by Honda’s former chief mechanic Alastair Gibson manufactured solely from components on Rubens’s RA108 car.

The RA107 sucked so horribly they couldn't even make a trophy out of its scrap :mamoru:

To be honest, that's the most fun thing Honda has in their line-up probably at this point...:squint:
I wonder what his company cars are -- I know JB has a NSX and an S2000.

the new face of F1?

I wished the FIA had allowed Aguri-san, Sato-san, and Davidson to be a part of the Turkey press conferences.......at least for just one day. Sadly the only people now that will field questions about Super Aguri will be Button and Brawn.........wonder where Fry is hiding.

Japanese motorsport fans are already up in arms against Honda........best PR move Honda could've done for people to notice their Earth Dreams now haha.

It's BE being greedy again. Fuck him. I love this sport so much but the people that get rich from it makes me want to vomit while real teams that actually love racing suffer death at the hands of a damn jew and a french fries. At least I think BE is jew, but that's beside the point lulz.

All Bernie cares about it stuffing his own pockets. Should have realised that one by now!

You guys forgot we have a race this weekend?

Where's the av bet thread :squint:

I think it's going to be painted red on the podium...maybe BMW has closed in though.
On a side note, I hope Fry gets castrated by the media.

It's a fucking mess. I don't know who to root for anymore -- probably Williams since I like Nico & they're still independent. I think I'm getting tired of F1...not b/c of the racing, but all the dumb political drama.

I'm about there with you. Not so much on the Nico part (although I tried for a bit).

Year and a half at most.

Honda was the solid #3 team in 06.

Unless they hunt him down, or wait for him outside the motorhome, there will probably not be a good chance Fry does an interview, unless he is actually mental and voluntarily does one.

Thursday May 8
Jenson Button (Honda), Heikki Kovalainen (McLaren), Robert Kubica (BMW Sauber), Kazuki Nakajima (Williams).

Friday May 9

Ross Brawn (Honda), Norbert Haug (Mercedes), John Howett (Toyota), Frank Williams (Williams).

I can already see the questions for Thursday:
Heikki, did you see the crash? Was it as bad as Robert's?
Robert, same question (because we didnt already ask these last year).

Yeah. He's like a mini-Lewis if you think about it...and altho Williams is independent, I just can't seem to pull for them like I did Super Aguri. I don't know what it is, I just find it hard to.

To be honest tho, BMW, even tho they're a corp, they seem to have more racing spirit than all the other mftgs, even more so than Williams (in my eyes). Forget Red Bull -- their engineered 'hard-core' image is so damn fake.

It's funny though, because I like Hamilton.

I kinda see Nico as getting in on his father's credentials. He's got moments of brilliance, but overall is disappointing.

I sway back and forth. Sometimes I like him as a guy with really strong character and rate him greatly as a driver. But when the British sack-ride him, or he compares himself to Mandela (http://axisofoversteer.blogspot.com/) I'm like 'wtf'
And he's just a little too 'perfect' sometimes, following the mclaren image...

BMW in motor sports is just like peas in a pod. It's just meant to be!
