massa is constantly underrated. the fact schumi has kind of taken him under his wing is a strong endorsement. he's definitely one of the quickest guys around and he's constantly improving his consistency.

my major issue with massa is his consistency ... or lack of it. he's either on the ball and fast or he's a big boat of brazilian fail. there doesn't seem to be an in between. if he can just cool down a bit when he's having an off day and salvage whatever points he can get, even if he's down in 6th, then he'll at least be a title contender... until he gets that under control, he'll be one hit wonders at various tracks. he's improving that's for sure.

I dislike Massa b/c he's always quick to blame someone else or the car for his problems. It's never his fault...

Hot on the heels of strong speculation that Fernando Alonso has penned a Ferrari agreement for 2010, it is being rumoured again that the Italian team's current star driver Kimi Raikkonen could be soon to retire.
The reports, suggesting that the 28-year-old reigning world champion will not renew his contract beyond next year, appeared on Friday in the German language newspapers Rheinischen Post and TZ.
Rheinischen Post claims that Raikkonen, the laconic Finn, told some friends at a party recently that he does not intend to spend much longer as a Grand Prix racer.
"Kimi loves the driving and hates everything else about Formula One," one of Raikkonen's apparent friend is quoted as telling TZ.
"The public appearances, the life under the spotlight - he doesn't have the desire anymore," the unnamed friend reportedly added.

By the veteran Scot's own admission at Monaco, 2008 has been a 'shocking' season so far for David Coulthard.
"To be six races in, without any points and with so much accident damage, is really disappointing," he said after crashing out of the Grand Prix at Monte Carlo.
Rumours that suggest the 37-year-old's race seat at Red Bull may in danger within weeks. This is perhaps wide of the mark, sister team Toro Rosso's co-owner Gerhard Berger insists.
Should Coulthard be replaced, it is no secret that Red Bull's favoured candidate would be Sebastian Vettel, who drives for Toro Rosso but is under direct contract with the energy drink outfit.
"For Sebastian, the step (to Red Bull) would be much too early," Berger is quoted as insisting to Auto Motor und Sport.
Coulthard's manager, fellow Briton and former F1 driver Martin Brundle, thinks his charge only needs a couple of good results to get the monkey off his back.
"Unfortunately, all the bad luck at the moment is concentrated on him," Brundle said.
It is well known that Coulthard's on-form team-mate Mark Webber, who has scored every one of Red Bull's 15 points so far this season, has already commenced talks to stay in 2009.
But Brundle suggested that it is too early to be thinking about next year. "To be doing something now would be like answering a question that has not been put," he said.

honestly, DC to me is just a waste of a seat. he's way past his prime... same with Rubens and I actually like Rubens... they need some fresh blood not some guys that aren't willing to let go till they get booted

Let it be a lesson for all you corporate guys, set the bar low.Its pretty sad that with a few good performances everyone suddenly forgets how monumentally Massa fucked up in the first two races. It's not his first season in F1, he shouldnt need a few races to get 'acclimatised'.

Lewis Hamilton caught a plane headed west after dominating in Monaco, and when you're a rising F1 star in Los Angeles, you're certainly not going to hit up Avis to rent a Ford Focus – you want your vents to be functional. So Claus Ettensberger, owner of the So. Cal. tuning shop CEC, was kind enough to provide Hamilton with a fully-kitted Techart Porsche 997 911 during his stay in L.A. Granted, anything is kind of a demotion from his McLaren Formula One car, but we could think of worse ways for Hamilton to get around while mixing it up with L.A's elite.
