Here is your reason:It just struck me that there are no drivers from the middle east in the series. Kind of strange considering that motorsports are pretty popular there and there's obviously TONS of cash that they could potentially bring to a team.

I caught Fernando in a good way, then I started to have a problem in terms of temperature in the car and it made a lot of fuel consumption so I started to save fuel in the last 25-30 laps
Question for the engine folks (yonson?), would running rich (hence having to increase fuel consumption) result in cooler engine temps?

shame about vettel, I don't think alonso has shown his pace yet, shummi a tad rusty, must make nico feel better, jenson expected, lotus the best of the new guys so far...
that's all i got

I'm not really sure, I guess it's possible to a degree, but generally if you run an engine too rich the power will drop quite a bit, and then theres the visual aspect, once you get one that rich you will have quite a bit of black smoke coming out of the exhaust.

not an engine expert but I'm pretty sure running rich(er) reduces engine temps - at least that was the case with my radio controlled buggy engineQuestion for the engine folks (yonson?), would running rich (hence having to increase fuel consumption) result in cooler engine temps?
would make sense as the evaporating fuel takes up a lot of heat

That's what I assumed Massa was referring to when he said he had to 'save fuel' for the last 30 laps due to overheating... I'm guessing he had to richen up the mix to cool the engine, and cut the revs so he didn't run out of fuel before the checkered flag.not an engine expert but I'm pretty sure running rich(er) reduces engine temps - at least that was the case with my radio controlled buggy engine

I just hope it wasn't an excuse for not being able to keep up with Emonso
feel kinda meh after this race, both Felipe and Michael got beaten by their team mates

I've never been more disappointed in a season opener. "Most exciting season of F1 ever" my hairy balls.
