Jesus christ, the British PM can't even congratulate Jens without sackriding Hammy some more :

What an island of sackriding faggots...if their TV shows and music weren't so good, I'd really hate them.

Lame. That last drive of him worthy of the WDC IMO. Just barely though...he should've been doing this the entire time during the 2nd half of the season quite honestly :o

Not that I can judge him, lol. I'm driving a computer working on code I could hardly care with a hole in my sweater underneath my right armpit which I must've ripped last year and totally forgot about and is held together with some staples right now while he drives the fastest machines on earth..

The real test will be in Abu Dhabi, now that he doesn't have an excuse to not be pushing.

I guess that's why we like to see drivers who enjoy being there and give it their all.

After enraging the world earlier this year with his remarks about such people as Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein being good at getting things done, Bernie Ecclestone is once again making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Sections of the international media are reporting disbelief at the F1 chief executive's latest controversial comments about the late triple World Champion Ayrton Senna.

After greeting Senna's sister Viviane and her son Bruno - who may have a Formula One seat next year - in the Interlagos paddock at the weekend, the 78-year-old was quoted as saying the Brazilian hero's death during the 1994 world championship was ultimately "good for F1".

"He was unfortunate," Ecclestone told the local Folha de S. Paulo newspaper, "but the publicity generated by his death was so much... it was good for F1.

"It was a shame that we had to lose Ayrton, but it happened. He was very popular, but the actual event interested so many people who did not know about the sport," he added.

Seriously? Seriously?

Yep...I have massive respects for people who follow their dreams and go flat out for it. We talked about it in person, but hell, we have forum members like Kngrsll & Kero...they all strike me as folks who are going for their dreams.

Hopefully one of these days, I'll grow some balls, quit my job and go balls to the walls and just travel while doing photography instead of doing it part time and being stuck in Dallas :o

Oh and race on the Ring on the side like Shi :x:

Seriously? Seriously?

You know, if he had said it was for the greater good of the sport in terms of saftey, it wouldn't have been so bad, b/c I think that's what Senna's death best contributed to. And that F1 hasn't seen a death since...if it weren't for Senna dying, more deaths might've occured...:o But a death for the publicity that was generated? He needs to DIAF.

There's being a business man, and then there's being a prick. While he may actually feel that way, to tell someone that is a whole other thing, especially in their home country.

:o @ James Allen's comment:

There have been more American presidents than there have F1 champions – it is a very select group.

...perhaps because the United States has been around since 1776 and the modern F1 championship only started after WWII?

Senna gets way more rep than cobain...shit, sublime is still in heavier radio rotation than nirvana. Foo Fighters get more airtime.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Toyota puts offer on the table for Raikkonen

Panasonic Toyota Racing has put an offer on the table for Kimi Raikkonen. This was confirmed by the Team President John Howett. The Iceman agreed to leave Ferrari a year before the end of his contract to make way for Fernando Alonso, thus is still searching a team for 2010.

Howett said to news agency 'Reuters': "We don't play too many games. We put on the table what we can afford and what we think is a serious offer in the current market. I think genuinely we could work well with him (Raikkonen), give him a car that's quick.

"We have had very good relationships with Scandinavian drivers in the rallying times that enjoy life and it works very well, so we could cope with it as a team."

Howett also insisted that the team is still in talks with both Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock. He added: "With both drivers we are still maintaining a degree of discussion.

"We have put an offer on the table with Jarno, I think that he himself is not dissatisfied with the financial offer, the bottom line to some extent is certain issues on the contract and I don't think they are negotiable from our side. He may well be in the car next year but it's not at all clear."

Kimi shouldn't retire. He's too good for the sport. Seeing the grid w/o him would be so boring. Which is funny considering he sounds boring when he speaks. :werd:

Come back to Mclaren Kimi, you know you wanna. :hs:

I don't want him to retire, but the more I think about it, the more I'd rather see him at Red Bull than McLaren, I think Red Bull fits his personality better...

Fun loving won't win him anything - he needs the rigidity of McLaren to get the most out of him...plus I wanna see him take it to Ferrari w/ a vengence.

Did anyone think RBR would finish 2nd at the beginning of this year?
