Honestly didn't expect McLaren to be struggling so much and Lewis actually being up front with Mercedes. Interesting turn of events so far this year.

Arrogance. The decision to build an all new car instead of making evolutionary changes to an already fast car last year was the worse idea ever. Considering next year there will be shake up to the rules package, it'll be a one off design. What made them think they could pull off the pull-suspension without hiccups the way Ferrari did last year?

Whitmarsh has not been doing a very good job at McLaren...

Witmarsh isn't paid to play out safe, he's paid to win. They knew they had pretty much reached the limits of what last years car could do and needed a new direction to have a chance this year.

I'm sure if they played it safe and came in 3rd or 4th in the constructors then people would be wanting Witmarsh's head on a platter too. Gamble didn't pay off, but playing it safe to come in 3rd isn't good enough for McLaren.

Yeap, Fred brought it this round.
Good job with Lotus and Kimi, good tire strategy and driving
Mercedes seems to only have a single lap pace, their race pace is comical. Not sure who's doing worse right now, Mercedes or McLaren. Whitmarsh and Braun must be getting shit from the top brass.

That car seems like it's always been pretty hard on tires. It's just a bigger overall performance factor now.
