Had too much tequila last night and ended up in 2003 this morning.

Getting spoiled by 2021...Turkey's race would've been a good one in 2019, lol.

I hate Max, but I want Honda to win but also don't want LH to win another...I'm so torn by this year's chip!

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Max either, but I'd much rather see him win it than MB get another one...

WDC is like leaving a really bad job to me. At a certain point you're not looking for something better, just something different.

Even if Max sucks, at least he's a different kind of suck.

Just one single non-Mercedes turbo era championship winner before the full regs overhaul, is that too much to ask?

Yup, exactly!!!  I'd even settle for it being a damn, I can't even bring myself to say it...  red car.

But I like Chili and Eclair in the Ferrari so I'd be okay with Ferrari winning one

My fear is after the full reg change, someone's gonna figure it out better than the others and we're going to see domination again...but with a powerplant freeze, hopefully the gap won't be that bad.

This is it - you need to open up development after the reg resets.  The NBA doesn't have a draft, a trade window, and free-agency every 5 years.  It's wildly anti-competitive - and simply not entertaining - when advantages get locked in for long stretches of time.

I want Max to win it...

I want Lewis to get an 8th title, just not this year

Car regs are going to be interested as the engines are frozen... so Mercedes still have an edge I think. We'll see what RedBull does with the Honda power plant now that they are taking over.

Not an exciting races, but definately nervous until the end to see the Max vs Lewis final laps...

Also, Kimi seems to do well here at COTA... Spa 2.0?

Lastly... Max and Lewis are just leagues ahead of everyone else, it's not even close... if either of one of them left, the series would be a 1 man show...

I think if there were more teams with similar quality machines you might see more guys up there. Right now it is only clear that HAM >> BOT and VER > PER.

Let's see how things are next year with George making the step up

Man, DTS has really changed the population around Tejas...I'm overhearing everyone talking about F1 now.  Just the other night I heard two blondes chat F1 like they've been watching forever.  I feel like a true hipster lol.

Seriously.  Regularly on the front page of reddit, Shaq and Charles Barkley were talking about how nice Lewis Hamilton is on NBA on TNT last night. Shows us how wildly out of touch Bernie was.

Really tense battle this year. Hope it goes down to the last race without reliability issues ruining the show.

Good race… would’ve been a bit sweeter if Carlos got past at the end, but that is one happy podium for Red Bull

That 1 pt would have also been the lead for the constructor's champion-chip. They needed to take that one away.

Yeah, was really hoping Checo could get past HAM.  Even though I'm not a VER fan, that move at T1 at the start was  and cemented his deserving of the chip!

Not sure how I feel about all the criticism Wolff and Hamilton are throwing Bottas' way for not doing a better job of blocking Verstappen at the start.

On the one side - yes he could have maybe stayed more to the left.

On the other side - if he stayed more to the left then Verstappen probably would have gone down the middle.

Lopsided chip since the Rosberg year, and now we're going to have this.  One thing I didn't see in my skim of the FIA letter was how much the wing failed by - are we talking the guage slipping through by .5mm?  Seems like a sloppy actuator could be to blame.

Or maybe this is all orchestrated to set up an epic sprint run by Louise.

Failed by 0.2mm. we're talking F1 manufacturing standards here, 0.2mm is not insubstantial, but yeah that's a tough one to swallow.
