Unless something happens to Vettels car, he's got this
Hamilton is going to do everything he can to win, between Lewis and Vettel, maybe webber, Alonso isn't going to win

how long till massa's gearbox seal is broken and alonso gets promoted to 7th (for the 2nd time in 2 weeks).

honestly, in this case I think massa torpedo is a better strategy than another 5 spot penalty, especially with seb along side of him on the grid.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did, but twice in a row would be really lame. Very desperate move.

Vettel added that he wasn't concerned by the fact that Alonso's team-mate Felipe Massa will start behind him on the grid in fifth.

"There are always going to be cars around you," he said. "It would be boring if it were just me on the grid. I think that's pretty normal. We have mirrors on the car but we try not to use them too much.

Maldonado penalized for ignoring stewards requests for weigh-in at the end of Q2. No slap on the wrist penalty because it was his third, and by regulation must serve a 10 spot penalty.

Alonso P7.

If massa can get in front of Vettel and hamper Vettel's pace, Alonso can jump him in the pits...this being a dry race of course. C'mon rainnnn! :x:

Jump him doesn't win the WDC. He'll need Massa to slow Vettel down and move him down the order.

Congrats Vettel. Tried to hand Ferrari the chip on a silver platter but the horse wasn't hungry enough.

what a completely unpredictable race... most of the time I had no idea who was leading the WDC...
Alonso put up a good fight, but Vettel did what he had to do...
So close...

oh and Kimi 3rd in the 'chip, not bad after 2 years of having fun :mamoru:

Wasn't sure what to make of Will Buxton when he came on to replace Windsor back in 2010 but he has become my favorite guy on the team. Hope he lands a spot with NBC next year.

Freaking awesome. Never really cared for Varsha anyways. Praying that Derek Daly does NOT make the broadcast crew. That would be a show breaker IMO.

I really liked Varsha, but felt that all of the guys together really made it worth watching even with commercials...

Whatt a race...it was so draining to watch emotionally. At the start i was like Holy shit!! But Vettel being just as tough as Alonso managed to get all those places back. Great job by Vettel...he did what he had to do. But I really do feel for Alonso. That stare from Alonso was heart wrenching for me at the end...That's twice now that he has been robbed.

He really needs a better car from Ferrari. And with no rules changes, Ferrari better get it right. What he did in the dog slow Ferrari was just staggering.

And boy has Massa earned his keep these past few races. Well done to massa too.

I'm happy that Button won it though!
