by that logic the 2003 Jordan was a championchip winning car.i mean come on, fisichella won a race here and there...

winning 1 race by luck because of a 60+% DNF rate and torrential rain is not the same as winning races where 60-75+% of the cars finish..by that logic the 2003 Jordan was a championchip winning car.

I feel like a lot of people forget how dominant a car the r25 and r26 were. Alonso is good, but he would have to jump in an equally great car to win another WDC.
If Alonso wasnt driving the r25 and r26 nobody would be saying how 'dominant' it was.
funfact a lot of people seem to overlook

Alonso is easily the best driver out there today, and I'll say it, as good, maybe better, than Schumi.

He's definitely one of the best, possibly the best.

I think that it's pretty obvious who the top 3 drivers are.

You're fuckin' crazy dude. But go right on believing that if you want. Unrestricted v10 renault with bespoke tires specifically developed FOR renault alone, and the other Michelein-shod teams second, but it was all Alonso. And he really made the mp4-22 fast, not the fact McMerc lifted data from Ferrari and the years of development done since the defunct mp4-18 chassis. That is LOLable.

he wasn't even as fast as Lewis in his rookie year. By Canada he was thoroughly outclassed. Shit didn't come to a head with the team for several races after that, so don't even claim favoritism. For fucks sake Ron went out and got him because he believed this at the end of '06, just like Ross Brawn. The same Ross Brawn who watched Mikey chase him 'round Imola. The same Ross Brawn who always said Jenson was a legit speed demon, until he worked with him... LOL

And the Bridgestones in 06 weren't specifically designed for the Ferrari and the Ferrari with those tyres in mind? If R25/26 were so dominant then how come Fisi did so shit? Remember 2002/2004, who was second in the wdc? Fisi wasnt even top4 in 2005 or top3 in 2006 which is something you might expect with such a dominant car, right?
If you think the only reason Alonso is double WDC is because of the car then You're fuckin' crazy dude.

alonso beat kimi, alonso beat schumi.
Until he wins a wdc, all hamilton has done is beached it when everything was on the line.
As far as hamilton outpacing alonso, it was on new tires, new brakes, new chassis, new race engineer, new team...and once flustered, emo's emotions got the better of him. I honestly believe if you would've thrown hammy into an r26, he very well might have not been quicker than emo.

you're all crazy, everyone know hands down Shiyan is the BEST driver in the world, and he can drive circles around those dousche bags in his Z4 while getting road head from josie, i mean wanting.
and he even squeezes in f1-crew posts during the pit stops.

He has a keypad on his steering wheel to post rather than buttons and dials to adjust silly things like brake bias and engine maps

Because Lewis had the Bridgestones, McLaren brakes, McLaren chassis, McLaren race engineer, and McLaren team in GP2 in 06, right?

well shiyan's go the whole ECU hooked up to his Duo core PC so he can like do a whole engine remapping while driving, not to mention post on F1-crew, updating Josie's website, d/ling and watching porn, and probably playing the need for speed while running circles around those guys....

sure they were, the renault/mich combination was just better. Fisi did so shit because he is shit. Shoulda stuck with Trulli. And as your fellow apologist drdickaction (great name, ) said below you, Alonso was better til his emotions kicked. So Alonso is the best driver on the grid, except when it's emotionally trying? haha. Alonso's dramatic turn in gave him an advantage with super sticky Mich' tires, he'll never find those circumstances again. BUt he is smart, so if someone places him in an equal car to the other WDC title contenders, he'll be competitive. Thats it.

We don't have to apologise for anything, Alonso is currently the most successful driver in the field and thats a fact.

Nope, maybe his driving style was just suited better to the equipment.Because Lewis had the Bridgestones, McLaren brakes, McLaren chassis, McLaren race engineer, and McLaren team in GP2 in 06, right?
When tiger switched to nike clubs, his game fell apart for a year or so...doesn't mean he wasn't the best golfer, just means the change threw him off his finely tuned game.

Or maybe he was just equal to better on (at least) new equipment than Fred.Nope, maybe his driving style was just suited better to the equipment.

This makes me rofl.Great way to get a clearer picture of Kubdawg's performance (Nick's too) with Alonso jumping around like this.
Thing that gets me is if Alonso drives for Ferrari which I believe he will, what about the hate fest between him and Massa? Two fiery latin drivers??
Massa: Learn something.
Alonso: lol... you learn something.
Massa: Learn something.
Alonso: *snickers*
Massa: *fumes*
Alonso: What?
Massa: Hey!
Alonso: ??
Massa: Learn something.
