dammit missed FP2, I hate when they are in the same time zones we are in and I'm not at the track

I watched apart of it here, but was half-awake. I had a tuna steak sandwhich for lunch so that made me sleepy as hell :run:

it was a masters thesis defense.. and it was a grueling 2 hrs long. but i passed with flying colors so i'm gonna go out to celebrate in a few mins :o :o :o

after i deposit my thesis i will be a Master of Science!!! :run:

but i will be getting a PhD in Aeronautics/Astronautics (Engineering) too (in a few years).

actually the degree says "Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics" but none of my research has anything to do with aero/astro as I'm actually working in vehicle (automotive) dynamics and controls

Congrats :o

And I'm jealous that you're working on car dynamics, most of the members on this board would probably love to have a job like that.

If all goes according to plan in about 1.5 years I'll be M.Sc. too  Although in polymers, not vehicle dynamics. Not as exciting them polymers but I gotta do what I gotta do.

Oh yeah once you get hired by a major F1 team, you have to hook up F1 Crew with free swag :o

This 60 years of Silverstone special that ITV is doing is really nice. Driving a car from each era, they just drove the John Player Special.

They've done all of the older cars so far. I'd imagine after they all get shown someone will put together a compilation.
