Alonso got boned twice... drive through and then right before he served it a safety car... dude got fucked bad this race...
I loved Vettels drive during the last 10 laps, passing what 4 or 5 cars? :bowrofl:
and webbers comment about "not bad for a #2 driver"... shut up and drive...

:hs:
:jerkit:
and :werd:

Mark Webber - the new, less talented, Fernando Emonso.

STFU and try not to fuck over your teammate in between having anvils fall out of the sky hitting you. Fucking arsehole.

Webber for the win, he had every right to say what he did.

He's in the twilight of his career and still teaching the "new Schumacher" a thing or 2 about driving.

I don't understand how there's so little support for Webber on this forum to be honest. Here you have a team claiming equal no. 1s and than they go about taking parts off each other's cars. I do not like it when teams claim to be one thing, and behave in another fashion. As I recall, Vettel hasn't been an angel either, complaining early on in the season that he was pissed that he was getting all the problems with the cars while Webber wasn't having any mechanical issues. All drivers that want to win, will be emotionally charged...that's how they operate. So what Webber said is right in line and also puts RB under the gun with the public opinion.

I just think it's because Webbers been a mid fielder since forever that he has no support... no flash of brilliance or anything like that, he's just a good consistent driver... he's just there... my theory on why vettel gets more support is that he's a young gun... he's been in F1 for what, 3 complete seasons and he's giving the old crew who have been around forever a run for their money (ie: webber, shummi, rubens, etc)...

I don't agree with taking parts off one car and giving it to the other driver, nor a #1 driver unless their is an obvious difference in talent or when you're close to the end of the season and one driver has more points and is closer to reaching the title... other than that, yes, it should be equals... that's where redbull is messing up right now, it's way to early in the season to be favoring a driver...

on the same token, talking to the press and making public comments about how unfair things are and how the team is favoring the other guy and being a little bitch about it rubs me even worse... I hated alonso in 2007 when he was complaining about lewis and favortism, i only started liking him ever when he went to renault in 2008/2009 and got a huge order of humble pie...

you're an F1 driver, you get paid to drive what's handed to you, sometimes it's a good car, sometimes it's a bad car... shit happens, but if you end up qualifing 2nd and going on to win the race in dominating fashion, you're not exactly being held back by the team and being given a shit car... shut up, take your 25 points and see you the next race...

Maybe the wing thing was a "fuck you" for not allowing vettel to pass under team orders in Turkey?

And it's clear why a team would want to give vettel support, the kid's young, he has a fuckton of personality, and comes from a country completely rabid for their f1 heroes. If he wins a couple WDCs, he will be as big a schumi. It would be foolish for RBR to not try to groom that kind of tornado of fame and money.

So they support Webbo, what are they gonna have? A slim shot at 1 WDC. Jenson Button, but from a country more indifferent towards F1, and without all of the ex-Honda fanboys to sackride and buy sponsor gear.

RBR can make a shitton more money and provide much better exposure to their parent company with Vettel winning. If Webbo is gonna be emo about it, he should have signed somewhere else.

They did say the order came from the higher ups in Austria and not from mgmt at the track.

If you think your team is going to put you as a number 2, and you want a fair chance at the title, what better way than doing what you think it takes to get the team back on your side? How he is going about it might not be the best way b/c you could just shut up and drive like you said or by getting the team on your side via public pressure. But qualifying 2nd (whether that's related to the front wing or not), is a huge mental disparity after the part was taken off your car and given to Vettel. To me, that's a clear signal that the team is running in a no1/no2 role. If so, say it, and I'll be fine with it. But don't say you're an equal team when you're taking parts off your car and then saying we're equal no.1s. What if Vettel had won that race and Webber did not?

totally agree with Vettel fitting the Red Bull image over Webber. My point is this though, if you're going to tell the public that you have no no.1 driver, than conduct your actions accordingly. Like I said, they are the new McLaren. Ironically enough, McLaren is the old Red Bull at the moment, lol.

Oh Helmut Marko need to shut up more than anyone else. That guy is more annoying than Nick Fry, Max Mosley and anyone who has ever worked at Ferrari all put together.

If RBR ends the season failing to win anything, I put the blame solely on his shoulders!

There has never been any pressure from Red Bull to favour one driver over the other.

I didn't have a conversation with Helmut or anyone from Red Bull regarding the decision to give Sebastian the wing. It was purely a technical decision, which I discussed with Adrian [Newey].

again i'll say, i completely understand why kimi doesn't want to do sponsor events :eek3:

The millions of dollars in paychecks and getting to drive an F1 car to get said paychecks should really be more than enough to offset a couple stupid pictures.

They were 'advised' by Whiting (three times) to give the position back, but they didn't. So they got the drive through right as the SC came out.

The post-race radio call to Webbo was odd from the pit wall. Totally emotionless congrats on the victory to the driver.

Made sense when I found out it was Horner from the wall, and it makes the response from Webber ever more appropriate.
