So much is happening this weekend...
- Typhoon hit race?
- Caterham's last race?
- Alonso to McLaren
- Vettel to Ferrari?

In order of likeliness:

Caterham's last race
Typhoon hit race
Vettel to Ferrari <--> Alonso to Macca

Vettel is probably looking for an out since he doesn't see another WDC with RBR while Ric is there (if RBR has a shot at a WDC, Ric will probably beat Vet to it). I don't think Vet wants to stay at RBR as long as Ric is there and seems to have the upper hand.

Alonso could be making the gamble to Honda PP since he doesn't have any options at a top Mercedes PP team and is tired of having to haul the half-dead horse up to the podium.

Newey is also gone...

With that said... according to Autosport

Sebastian Vettel looks set for a switch to Ferrari next year after Red Bull announced he is leaving the team at the end of the current Formula 1 season and will be replaced by Daniil Kvyat

Well I guess Alonso to Mclaren is a done deal now, unless they dump Kimi again in Suzuka :mamoru:

Smart move from Seb, get started at Ferrari while he is still young but already has nothing to prove.
