I'd rather dinner w/ Lewis over Ron. I'd rather dinner with the wheel nut guy in the pitstop team than Ron.Better than dinner w/ Lewis, lol.

Outside of Button, I'd MUCH rather have a conversation with a mechanics than anyone of the 'stars' of the team. I bet they'd be more like me, just down for a good laugh and a good pint. I bet they'd have some fucking killer stories to tell too...

On my moto forum, they're wonder what will happen with wsbk and motogp. I'm less concerned about those two as I've given up watching them on speed years ago. Torrents ftw.
But I like the speed guys. So

From a business perspective, likely what anyone with a spare 80k on top of their McLaren purchase laying around has some interest in, Ron Dennis would absolutely be someone who would be interesting to talk to. While he may not be the most exciting guy around in terms of personality, it can't be argued that he pretty much made McLaren into what it is today.http://www.neimanmarcus.com/christmasbook/fantasy.jsp?cid=CBF12_O5410&cidShots=m,a,b,c&r=cat24050744&rdesc=The%20Christmas%20Book&rparams=xpage%3D71&icid=05410
If I were gonna throw down that 80k premium on a MP4-12C spyder I'd rather have dinner with someone other than Ron 'I have the personality of a cinder block' Dennis. FFS, couldn't they throw in dinner with someone a bit more pleasant to sit with? Jens?

This. You think that is going to change with nbc?
NBC isn't the BBC, nor is any american station save PBS. You're going to have a ton of commercial breaks, as well as ads for unrelated racing series that NBC gets, as well as anything else they feel like advertising. And because F1 doesn't have a huge following in the US, it'll be bumped for anything with a bigger fan base that's running concurrently.

Hmmm, I was under the impression they would air it on NBC (network tv), if it is on NBC sports then I may have to keep the subscription. Is the NBC Sports channel not in the sports package?

Mini said last week it's stopping it's WRC program but will supply cars to teams if they want it...
Ford is now pulling it's factory team...
so that leaves Citroen with a single factory backed car (Mikko), and VW with 1 factory car so far (Ogier) for 2013... rest are privateers and "wild card" drives...

Trust me I know... I've been waking up at 5am to watch the races live for the past like 6-7 years...
hell, we've even based our Saturday/Sunday morning routine with Sebastian around the races... Wife gets him Saturday morning so I can sleep in, and Sunday, since I'm up anyways, I get him so she can sleep in...
