About to break off their contract with Prodrive.

Makes no sense. Were they expecting to win in their first season? Sordo got a 2nd at Monte Carlo. The car's been steadily improving. It's Loeb that's making the difference.

BMW's being really undependable when it comes to Motorsport.

F1, WRC, won't surprise me if they quite DTM after 1 season if they don't win :mamoru:

Plus all these M SUVs and diesels.

Not only that, but WRC has like no promotor right now... and due to labor laws in europe, eurosport can't just take over... they only stepped in at the last minute too for Monte...
WRC this season is a cluster...

...why am I not surprised by this at all? But then again, to be fair...like R said, WRC Is a cluster fuck. They need to fix the series first before they can keep mftgs interested...

What's the solution for WRC?

1) US broadcast
2) Back to AWD
3) Cut Loeb's brake lines?

How much of BMW does Susanne Klatten still own? I know they're public, but their autosport decisions seem to not be made with direction or purpose, they're just random whims...

Loeb actually crashed out of rally Portugal yesterday, handing the win to the Ford drivers as long as they don't crash. But then today, both Latvala and Solberg crash out

Ford boss: "It's just such a waste of a turnaround in the championship, we had it on a silver tray and we have put the tray in the bin and then buried the bin."

WRC is dead, Red Bull Air Race is on indefinite hiatus.

Why can't we have nice things?
