Whoa, Valencia is now the European Grand Prix? N�rburgring gone :confused:

not that huge of a lost to be honest. each year they go there its 20 mins of 'back in the old days on the north ring...' followed by a relative bland race on the modern track.

anyway germany is going to be between the modern nurburgring and modern hockenheim, both of which are castrated versions of great tracks.

tony george claimed that all they needed was a principal sponsor for the event and then it was go..

is there not a single company in the united states that is willing to sponsor a major sporting event that draws a crowd of over 150k? sounds like complete bs to me..

BE is a bastard but i think TG also needs to foot some of the blame here.

25 races? Haha. At that point, I'd actually feel sorry for the teams...it's not the drivers doing all the work, it's the support infrastructure around them -- and @ 25 races, that's just too much IMO.

Well you know they wqould need to extend the season a bit and several tracks could be run earlier in the year.
