Good on f1. I was hoping that was a precursor to jackass 4 though.

Agreed, the aqua finally works with the main color.

I wish they would make the airbox color different to make it easier to figure out the driver... the T-Bar color isn't enough for me... yes we can see the helmet, but for a quick glance, a bit more of a color difference would be nice.

Did not expect that finish. Great for Lando. All 3 drivers on the podium participated in the virtual GPs at some point. :coold:

Also, all that effort for social distancing and preventing spread of COVID-19, followed by drinking from the bottle and then promptly proceeding to spray everyone else in the face with said bottle

That was a fun race. Glad the season started up again.

I have F1TV Pro, $10/ month or they still have the $80/year pricing which doesnt make any sense right now as racing is only 2 months on the calendar

At this point they should just give a free year and write it off as customer acquisition costs.

It feels like they havent updated the service since launch. Streaming issues sometime (FP2 was unwatchable until 30 minutes in, errors everywhere)

Theyve promised an AppleTV app since forever, still waiting, iOS app has worked great, they recently released the Roku app so my Roku powered TVs make it easy to watch.

With COVID, they shouldve been able to do a lot with this service but it still feels like TV Pro 1.0 with some bug fixes.

Still good if youre a cord cutter though. I have this and the MotoGP subscription and its worth it I think. Even with the issues sometimes.

Hopefully the FIA doesn't take it away from him tomorrow... The yellow was clearly out going down the front straight on his last lap...

Random

 - Retired F1 driver Alonso rumored to rejoin Renault for 2021

 - Retired MotoGP rider Lorenzo rumored to rejoin Ducati for 2021

Crazy year, even if it does fall through, still that it's even being rumored is nuts... no up and comers to pull from? F2/GP2 drivers? Moto2/3 riders?

Watched the 6 minute recap, seemed like a fun race.  I'll start structuring my weekends around GPs again if we get some more parity and new faces on the podium.

Not enough data to make assessment yet?

Well, after Max dropped out it was in route to being another Merc 1-2, this is Race 1 of the season so some attrition is in order, hopefully this weekend is as exciting...

And Alonso is back...

 - Alonso should've just stayed retired

 - Kimi should retire (I like the guy, but let's move on, Alfa isn't helping anyone)

 - Why is Kubica still out there

The old guard just needs to move on and let some fresh guys give it a ago... :/

What's more disingenuous for a constructor - bringing on a young pay driver or trotting out an over-the-hill famous guy that will pick up a sponsor or two?  Clearly neither of these moves have anything to do with putting the fastest driver in the seat.

I recently read his biography... the Unknown Kimi, it's pretty good, he's a very big family man, and his upbringing is fascinating...

Yeah, we'll see if he's still doing it because he loves it if this season continues like it is...

I have it sitting on my coffee table, I just keep forgetting to read it, I haven't read a book that you actually have to turn the pages in over a decade, I'm addicted to my kindle...

The onboards of Sergio Perez pulling away fro LeClerc at the start of the race last week says it all. The Ferrari engine hasn't been all that competitive since it got gimped by the investigation last year

Kind of sad seeing Vettel clutching at straws for a drive in 2021, but he needs to stop spinning so much.

Yeah, that last lap was pretty in tents.  Too bad the 2 Mercs didn't take themselves out on the first lap like the Failrrari's...

Next year is McLaren Mercedes again too!  Seb will most likely be gone as with Kimi, so for the first time since 2002 I'll have to pick a new driver, and Lando it is, he reminds me of why I liked Kimi when I picked him after Mika retir err went on his "sabbatical"...
