Ben is the first gp rider to get beat by a CRT team  I'm telling you man he's practically giving up his seat with the results he's getting. Not "liking" a track at this level is not an excuse.

Rossi on the podium. Finally. Now just needs some upgrades to get on the sharp end of the stick again.

Tech3 boys need to calm the fuck down. That was a comedy of errors.

Moto2 and moto3 were incredibly entertaining this weekend.

Felipe is supposed to be a mid fielder. Ben and Marco were supposed to be the next big thing and the 1000cc bikes were meant for them. Seems we're all being let down. :hs:

Spies didn't suffer a skull fracture, Ferlipee get's a little bit of pass on his shit performance.

it's been 3 years... how long is that a viable reason?
2008 was the only year Massa really shined... but once 2009 hit, everyone pretty much upped their game and Massa had his accident... he's a good #2 but even now he's not that, he's no front runner either...

It's a viable reason b/c it has definitely changed how he drove. He wasn't losing to MS, and MS was at the top of his form before his first retirement. But you can't change what has happened...he's not a championship driver anymore.

Ben Spies lives in Dallas, TX. So a huge part of me wants Spies to do well. I'm not sure what the hell happened to him. He was so good when he was on the Tec3, constantly challenging the front runners and even putting it in 3rd at Indy. I wonder how much of that bike is not set up properly...or that it's setup for Jorge?

That's what I mean, after his accident and after the past 3 seasons and drivers coming up, there is no reason he should be expected to be a front runner... he's supposed to be a points person, but as of now, 5 races in, he has 2 points... blaming an accident that happened 4 seasons ago for his performance of barely getting any points is a stretch...

Ben went from 3x AMA superbike champ, to winning the WSBK champ his rookie year, to doing decent on the Tech3 bike, to doing decent in testing, to being a nobody 4 races in? either somethings off in his head, or i dunno what... it's not like it's a ducati where only 1 person can ride the thing (casey), he's on a yamaha, the 2008-2010 wining bike, 2011 runner up bike, and 2012 points leader / top satellite bike... the thing can get around a track...

There are certain accidents you just don't recover from, that's not a stretch, that's just reality. And yes, I still blame the accident for his shit pace today.

That being said, I didn't expect him to win races or compete for the chip.

I cried the day Felipe had his accident :wtc:

He didn't lose much, but F1's so competitive that being 99% won't cut it.

Well I guess a broken prototype is still a bit faster than a CRT bike.. Kudos, Ben.

There's promise in that last race though...he had grip, speed, and fight. And going from last to points is big promise, especially after dropping it. I have to believe that he has it in him...he'll show them what's up.

Great race. That finish was awesome...I love how Stoner never quits being Stoner. Blah blahh blah about marshells not helping him up quick enough b/c it's a conspiracy...

don't forget it's all Dorna's fault about the engine limits and cost savings...
wait, those 2 things were Honda's idea... :o
