Oh well, this race is going to be awesome regardless. I just hope that if quali is wet it's not delayed by an hour like last year.

To be fair, McLaren's general strong suit has been straight line, while RBR has been better on turns. It's starting to bother me how the commentators always talk about the track in terms of RBR or Mclaren. Ferrari is almost never mentioned even though they have been clearly faster than Macca in the second half of the season and on occassion better than RBR.

Ferrari hasn't had a far and away strength on any particular 'type' of track, which makes it harder to call a track a "Ferrari" track.

More seriously, the types of corners at Interlagos will be good for Ferrari I think. A lot of them aren't actually that fast, they are bumpy and need good braking stability+traction on slow exit, which is what the Ferrari is good at.
Something else I've noticed this weekend. I think Webbo is a dick with all his #2 comments. Seb is certainly no angel, but it's pretty clear to me that Mark is just stirring the shit and trying to get some leverage within the team, even though he had equal opportunity so far this year. (Silverstone wing aside). Personally I don't think he can cope with the pressure.

Ferrari has been the most balanced I think, they aren't the fastest in certain areas of the track like the RB's and the McLarens, but just fast in general...
which is probably why Alonso snuck under the radar for so long... while the RB and McLaren drivers have dominated in certain areas, Alonso has just been consistently scoring points all over the place...

Guess he's not going out without showing that he's got the talent, if not the bankroll.

Totally agree with Varsha btw, if Nico can't find a drive, F1 seriously has to look at itself.

Hamilton and Alonso are poised for doom or glory out of turn 1. Going to be tough getting to sleep tonite! Crazy to see the top 4 championship runners clustered on the grid, all being dealt a wild card in Hulkernburg.
