At least tomorrow's race might not be a snoozer..
I'm thinking only 1 Merc on the podium at best.

Eh.. most exciting was STR fighting in the midfield and the looney running onto the track to take a photo of Seb.

Turned it off and went to sleep half way through they somehow made the layout even worse for overtaking

Tough day for VW. Wonder if losing 25% of your market cap in a day might affect the chances of a RBR buyout.
this might affect my car buying later this year as well :/

Since I was in a hotel that had NBC Sports Sunday AM I actually watched a few laps of the race (kept falling asleep) I did see the crazy on the track and heard Jenson's rub my belly, pat my head comment.
On the VW things, I'm going to wait until the VW stock stops dropping and buy a bit, it'll definitely go back up...

Yep, scandals tend to pass. Huge amounts of capital and IP tend to last. Especially if it turns out another manufacturer or two did the same.

So there was a race today... it was super fun and interesting...
that is all.

Also, whats' with everyone riding Lewis's nuts about matching Senna's record? Vettel broke them years ago, at an earlier age, and in less races...

Zzz...the race at the front was boring. Midfield was a bit better, but I still fell asleep. Stupid engine rules, why aren't they being addressed?

If by super fun and interesting you mean boring and predictable you are correct... Should have known not to watch it...

This is the most entertaining part of the Japan GP, when asked about the tire pressures:

So someone remind me the path of the Lotus F1 team now that it's about to be purchased again by Renault? I'm confused as to who owns the Lotus brand after the Catarham / Classic Team Lotus lawsuit a few years back and its path to being a works Renault team once again...?

I think the current "lotus" is just a private equity group that licensed the name.

So it's not really a factory team at all...how confusing. I thought it was this entire time.

So...I'm actually a bit excited Haas F1 picking Grosjean as their driver. I think I can actually back this team for next year

Looks like Manor will get Merc engines and Williams gearboxes next year.
Mclaren on the back row at every race?
