Bruno Senna says that unless they clean that shit up real well offline its going to be about as exciting as Valencia. At least it has a nicer backdrop and will go from Day to Night during the race, right? right?

Is it just me or does it seem like there are an excessive amount of (useless) corners on this track?

It has the signature Tilke 'hairpin leading into hairpin' design.

Tilke was also involved in the radical overhauls of the Hockenheimring in Germany and most recently the Fuji Speedway in Japan. The alterations that were carried out to the Hockenheimring have generally not been well received by many fans of F1, who believe he has neutered a once great circuit. Tilke has also revealed plans for the reconstruction of Jacarepaguá in Rio, which will have staged the 2007 Pan American Games.
Tilke Engineering is also due to carry out work on Circuit de Catalunya, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Nürburgring, Silverstone Circuit and La Ciudad del Motor de Aragon (Spain).

That Aragon track looks kinda interesting from the pics I saw. Catalunya is already shithouse Tilke cant make it worse. Hands off the other three though you asshole.

There is no need to number out several corners on the track. 10, 12 and 15 come to mind.Is it just me or does it seem like there are an excessive amount of (useless) corners on this track?

The last track that he designed that I thought was interesting was Turkey and only because of that turn 8.ok Catalunya he's only changed the grand stands, Nurbergring he's worked on the first turn complex and a bunch of grandstands, which are already completed and we've already seen the changes in this yrs calendar. I'm hoping he's only doing the pit building / grand stands for Silverstone and Monza. Those two could use some upgrades.
I think after the out lash of his design in recent years, no one on the F1 calendar wants him to touch their track.
