they're expecting a big improvement package in spain for freddy's home race.

it may just bump them into a point or two

:mamoru: That would push Toyota out. :ugh:

Or perhaps a BMW, McLaren, or Ferreri could kersplode (or ram it up someone's rear). :x: :mamoru:

They're gonna need it or that's it for their points scoring potential this year.

It didn't even look suspect at the time.

The ITV boys have their heads too far up Jesus' ass to see any reality though.

they'll just suck off anything thats british

what exactly did ITV say when louise hit emo? "OMG BRAKE CHECK!?"?

i guess james allen has retracted previous statements about freddy brake checking louis:

It was easy [if you're British] to jump to the conclusion that Alonso somehow initiated that incident, but you have to be careful when saying that.

I saw a progressive acceleration by the Renault, but the McLaren accelerated more quickly and there was enough of a closing speed for the McLaren to ride up on the back of the Renault and knock its front wing off.

The more you look at the incident the more you realise that there was no moment when Alonso lifted or braked. He just didn’t accelerate out of the corner as much as Hamilton, who took the whole blame for scoring no points today.

also this gem:

All was not well with Lewis here; he looked weighed down by something this weekend.

Maybe it is expectation. Being a rookie team leader is much harder than being a rookie driver.

does 'rookie' mean something different in the UK.. i was under the impression that you were a rookie for your FIRST year, and only the first year.

Lot of other teams have development parts for that race as well though e.g Honda. So it's going to have to be one hell of a good update to put Renault back in the mix.

What an absolute crock of shit. Hamilton got exactly what he wanted when Alonso left - was fired. He had the team to himself.

Rookie team leader has fuck all to do with it. This will prove his mettle to see if he can develop a car and lead a team in a Championship fight.

His rookie season was LAST year ITV assholes.

just going to throw this out there...
but anyone think Ferrari told Kimi to just hang tight and not pressure Massa? I mean, he did go in early to into the pits, and everytime he'd get closer to Massa he'd slow down for a little bit and give enough distance and stay pretty much a consistant 3-4 seconds behind Massa...

just thinking outloud...

Can see where your thoughts are coming from, but I genuinely think Massa just had the upper hand all weekend as he was blisteringly quick in every session while Kimi just seemed to struggle.

There are certain tracks where Massa does shine. This one. Istanbul is another, and of course, Interlagos.

uuuuuuuuh yea right, if that was the agreement alonso would still be at McLaren kicking ass... and a Ferrari wouldn't have won the championship :ugh:

i completely agree with that statement. wouldn't rule out him doing well at Barcelona as well.

We knew when the other was stopping, so I knew that I was going to stop earlier. Of course, you always try to overtake but when you stop first, there’s a very small chance. I was just pushing as normal and tried to get close to him. Sometimes when I got close he would pull away, so it didn’t really change much overall during the race. So after the last pit stop I just cruised around, so there was nothing I could really do.

read into this what you want...

I agree with you on the tracks where Massa shines, but i don't know, even with Kimi struggling, it just feels it was too consistent of a distance throughout the whole race. I just wonder if Ferrari wanted the 18 points regardless if Kimi or Massa won....

but then again, you could be right, Massa really did have the upper hand all weekend and this is one of his good tracks, so maybe he was just crusing around and he was setting the pace for Kimi to keep up...

Massa is like Hamilton.
He shines when he qualifies at the very top of the grid.

Of the current drivers, only Kimi and Alonso have proven they can win from wherever.
We'll see if Kubica or Heidfield can join them now that they are competitive

truth be told
didn't they say that this was Massa's first race he won when he started in position other than pole? and that was from 2nd :eek5:

kimi is fucking king of working his way up the field.
i'm looking foward to renault progressively getting better and watching alonso do the same again :eek3:

maybe that's the real reason alonso left McLaren. He got tired of Hamilton poking around his garage :werd: (pun intended)

Dawt.

Altho the machinary makes it hard to fight from the back, LH did come from farther behind to get to 13th posistion. And his GP2 drive in Bahrain was epic.
