And how did Renault keep their car's length the same with the bigger fuel tank?

Even with the red I guess it does look 100% better than last years

I'm almost thinking it's not 100% the new car. wheelbase is nearly exact, nose is identical, rear suspension is quite similar. Or maybe they just significantly underdeveloped when compared to most of the other new cars. They can't be that fuel efficient???

Really makes you wonder what Flavio was doing with the team for the second half of last season? Or maybe he had been planning his exit for quite some time so he kinda fawked Renault over by especially underdeveloping the car?

How has a team capable of producing the r25 & r26 produced the r28 & r29? And it sure as shit looks like they've continued underachieving with this years car.
It was essentially the same team, no? Mild Seven $$$ couldn't have made that much of a difference.

Michelin Tires???
They never recovered after Michelin left... Maybe they just had problems finding the right amount of mechanical grip without the Michelin's tires though that's not really a valid excuse

That quote is much, much older than MW2.Jesus Christ I did not know that
It is funny how history has always been painted...I guess people kind of let it go b/c Japan got nuked perhaps? Perhaps Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 said it best - "history is always written by the victors"
Yes, I quoted COD gotta problem with that!?
Possibly because Japan was much more backed into a corner than Germany was. They were being choked off by economic sanctions and whatnot and couldn't grow or develop any further with the trade issues in the region. They essentially went to war to gain the ability for freer trade within the south pacific, which they ended up getting in the end.no shit, its strange how history can be painted.
why do you think nazi germany is more demonized than imperial japan? i mean, people look at japan now and never think about what happened 60 yrs ago, but nazi references are always in modern media. and arguably, what imperial japan did was way worse on a purely numerical standpoint. 7-16,000,000 civilian chinese deaths vs a total of 6,000,000 jews killed in total.

But Germany was almost completely stripped of its resources after the Versailles Treaty. They had to pay the allied forces a ridicules amount of reparation after WWI. In that essence, they too had to invade "neighboring" countries for resources to essentially pay the allies.
In fact I would even to go as far to suggest that Germany had more of a reason to invade its neighbors, as the Japanese were on the winning side of WWI and gained a lot in Asia due to the treaty of Versailles. They were quite simply greedy and wanted more resources to expand their empire like the Europeans did prior WWI.
Not to mention, China (Nationalists: the controlling Government) already have a country of their own, and were planning to remove the communists so I doubt it was in their interest during that time, to try gain International support like the Jewish community did, as they were more interested in gaining military support from the US to remove the communists than to complain about the atrocities committed by the Japanese.
And, even after 1949 when the Nationalists were defeated and exiled, the communist government were not recognized as the official Chinese government (it didn't happen till 72), so even if they complained about Japanese atrocities in China, no one really listened to their complaints about their suffering until 1972, by which time was 30 years after the war...
edit: that and Chinese people are more about getting on with life then complaining about that huge chip on their shoulders unlike some people...

Germany was pretty well fuxored after WWI as well, Hitler was basically elected as rejection of the Weimar republic and all associated social misery post 1918. I'm going to go out on a politically incorrect limb here and say Germany had as much economic incentive for WWII as Japan did.
