seriously, though, I don't think the prices would be that ridiculous. I was looking into buying a pad in bangkok, 2 br about 120sqm and it was in the range of 120K. Granted that was a steal, but I can't imagine a place like this being much more than 300K. even if we get like 10 people that's only 30K over 10yrs it'll be like 250 bucks a month.

Wouldn't that be like a timeshare?

no...I don't think so. But basically you set out your time to vacation there but everyone owns it. Or that's how it is explained to me.

Why? Did you want to own it with alll of us pitching in?? :eek3: hehe

prices in the complex start at 220k, kimi's duplex would probably run you 700k.

well i guess in that case then I guess it is time share. But can you sell your time share? Collectively as a group? I'm still not sure how that would work.

I'm not really that serious about sharing with you guys :squint: but hypothetically, it would kinda be under all our names and I suppose we'd all take turns vacationing there, and we'd all own a fraction of it. In that sense it does sound like timeshare, but after 5 yrs of payments we'd own the unit, and then prob be able to sell it once property value went up? or rent it out and make money? dunno, didn't think that deep into it. :squint:

even if I was still in the market for a pad, it'll be cheaper for me to build my own dream pad Next to their property.
