Crying in the team trailer because he knows that was his best shot at a title. Now Seb has the #1 on the car, good luck trying to get the same front wing if there is only 1 available...

Of course you're going to feel shafted and a no.2 if they take your front wing from you...it's going to be difficult to *not* moan, don't you think?

Yeah, it sawked he didn't win...but I'm just happy Emotardo didn't get the chip!

Webber acted like a spoiled child more imo, how many times did he complain about being #2 publically?

Group-buy is the best bet, in my experience.

Although, honestly, teh F1.com store has pretty reasonable shipping. $11 for a shirt and book from there, as per their estimator. Might just have to wait a bit. :hs:

Indian Cowboy continues to crack me up

Karun Chandhok may not have raced for the whole F1 season, but in the short spell in the cockpit he made a pretty quick impression and fast became one of the most popular drivers in the paddock.

As well as proving his expertise in the commentary box with some appearances for BBC Radio 5 Live this year, he also kept in contact with all the news and gossip that was going on – as well as what fans thought – through Twitter.

But a fortnight ago in Brazil, Chandhok's jealousy at not being there while a lot of the F1 paddock got to see the new Senna film got the better of him.

As a big Senna fan he tweeted that if a single person from the paddock tweets him with how good the new Senna film is, then he will have to stalk its write Manish Pandey until he gets a private screening.

It opened up a floodgate of tweets to Chandhok, with any further comments he made over the course of the weekend all being linked to the Senna movie. Poor bloke!

But he took the abuse in great humour and at Abu Dhabi over the weekend he presented the guilty journalists who had wound him up with special T-shirts. Emblazoned across the front was: I saw the Senna movie before Karun!

The T-shirts were a huge hit in the paddock – and there were even a few fans who loved them so much that they want to get hold of copies themselves. You had better be quick though, because Chandhok has finally been promised a screening soon.

I dunno...I don't think Webber was "whining" like some of you guys made it out to be during the post-race celebrations.

Webber will be stronger in 2011 - Coulthard

Related LinksProfiles: David Coulthard | Sebastian Vettel | Mark Webber Teams: Red Bull Red Bull advisor David Coulthard is convinced Mark Webber will be even stronger next year and says he has already begun to patch up his relationship with team-mate Sebastian Vettel.

After his failed push for No.1 status this year, and now the loss of the drivers' championship to Vettel, speculation was once again rife that Webber might quit F1 over the winter. But Coulthard, Webber's former team-mate, insists "there is no doubt in my mind" Webber will stay at Red Bull.

"There are 119 days before the next season kicks off and he will go away and reflect on what worked and what didn't. He will come back stronger," Coulthard wrote in his Daily Telegraph column.

There are also signs that Webber has been patching up his strained relationship with his young team-mate. They travelled on the same plane from Abu Dhabi for the Red Bull title celebrations in Salzburg, and Coulthard was there to witness it.

He said: "I know they spent a whole hour after the race in the drivers' room talking it all over, which from Sebastian's perspective is quite a thing when you have just won the world championship and everyone is outside getting drunk."
Coulthard said that on the plane "Sebastian and Mark sat next to each other and dozed and talked."

But before Webber bounces back next year, his father expects him to enjoy a rare holiday and even a few indulgences, after working hard in 2010 to keep his 6 foot frame below 75 kilograms.

"He'll recover and he might actually have a bit of a holiday," his father Alan told the Canberra Times. "He'll maybe put a little bit of weight on and have to work hard in February to get it off again. He's not getting any younger but if he relaxes and has a great off-season he'll come back very strong."

There is, however, some speculation that it was Webber's call not to be involved with the first testing of the Pirelli tyres late this week.

And he is quoted by Germany's Auto Motor und Sport: "This was perhaps not my last chance to be world champion, but surely it was my best."

 look at those buttcramps

I guess he didn't deserve 2nd place with how fast RBR has been all year :)

Read the post again LOLonso. Red Bull owned everyone in speed, likewise Ferrari with reliability. The only difference was Alonso fell into points where Massa gave them away

Webber acted like a spoiled child more imo, how many times did he complain about being #2 publically?

No-ones immune, both whinged in the heat of the moment ala Vettel at Monza

I read it again and I don't see anything different :dunno: You're saying Alonso didn't deserve second because of RBR speed, I guess RBR needs better drivers? I don't remember him benefiting from Webber's reliability.

I prefer Hunt's version as well, but having the Red Bull one on my laptop bag is significantly less likely to get me fired than the original.

Not exactly cheap, but you could have some made... If you can manage to sell 50 of them then it'd only be $2.04 a piece. I'd buy a couple :o
