all of that money he was paid to not show up to work for Ferrari in 2010 can surely fund a couple years of a WRC team.

Seriously...team loses 4 million a year? Iceman can cover it for 10-13 years just from his last year's salary.

He won one stage in an entire season with a car that was no slouch. It shows he can be fast enough on the right day with the right conditions at least.Was he not good enough for yet another top team

The team is reportedly financed entirely from Raikkonen's own considerable pool of sponsors.

He won one stage in an entire season with a car that was no slouch. It shows he can be fast enough on the right day with the right conditions at least.
Means he just needs practice...it's not like he has much experience in rally cars. His expertise is with tons of traction, no loose gravel. For him to adapt this well so far is quite impressive. Schuey is doing worse in his return to F1 after just 3 years

Yonson in a way this might clear a path for him to return to GP driving one day. Who is to say you can't go compete at Monaco one weekend when you own the team?
