BBC feed is way better - that's the only thing I watch. I don't even bother with the SPEED Feed.

Holy boring this thing was...worse way to introduce the American public to Formula One.

Canuckistan GP was this seasons FOX F1 intro race. Not a bad way to kick it off, though non-fans probably stopped watching after the rain delay. Most probably missed the second half of the race, that was probably one of the better half-races of the last decade.

I don't mind the speed coverage, but just dislike how they have to dumb down the commentary for FOX. Why can't they just commentate as usual? If somebody doesn't get it and is interested, they'll look it up.

Did anyone else think Ham was getting annoyed at the pit-radio messages from his team?

We were griping to Buxton about the Fox format for F1 and he explained the producers point of view as (paraphrasing a bit) "if a non-fan Dad and 10 year old son happen to flip by an F1 race on Fox and the kid asks the Dad a question he may not know, the Dad will immediately turn it off". Not sure if I agree 100%, but that's their position.

I don't mind the dumb commentary as much as I mind the lack of pitwalk and extra commercials. If they really want to get people into F1, they should put Monaco on FOX, and have an hour long warm-up show, interviewing as many celebs and showing as many women-in-bikinis-on-yachts as possible.

Fox still believing in the "NASCAR Dads" Demo, eh?

Hamilton sounds like such a whiner over his radio sometimes. This was one of those (increasingly) sometimes.

How many more years does Valencia have under contract for the GP of Europe? That race is always boring as all hell. I fell asleep several times and missed nothing.

As everyone else mentioned Fox coverage is lame as hell so that didn't help. Between the commercials and promos for other Fox things they miss tons of laps and don't show the press conference at the end so that they can hurry up and get to the infomercial they have scheduled to air after. BOOOO!

I didn't even bother waiting for the Fox feed to show up on the fishy site, I just downloaded the BBC highlight video they put up.

.........and it's still boring.

I didn't hear that.
I do recall seeing a couple races ago that the HRT lap times were actually slower than the fastest GP2 cars the same weekend.
