I mean just think... if he's going to Ferrari next year, Shumacher will be lucky if Fernando retires early before he ties... dare I say surpass his championships?
I dont' think he'll surpass MS. MS was nuts. But you can't count how great of a driver you are/were/is by championships alone. By the numbers, MS I think will always be greatest.
I do however think Alonso is a greater/better driver than MS. He was easily MS's equal, and surpassed him twice while MS was competing. And the fiery spirit of Alonso, is very much like Senna Opposite of MS who was very mechanical when he was in F1.

Schuey did the same to Senna when he was driving, so does it go Alonso > MS > Senna - I don't think so.

i only like him because he managed to crash, and still give ralf (?) the finger while spinning
That's when I first noticed him as well. Monaco 2004, it was Ralf since JPM took out MSC in the tunnel under a safety car.

i think the lot of you are forgetting/forgiving the events of 2007 too easily. he acted like such a little bitch ass, pretty much from Canada on. Refusing to do interviews with Hamilton, then Hungary etc. Plus hammy's sketch of Alonso from F1Racing was hillarious.
I was still his fan all through 2007 who gives a shit

He was certainly a bitch then, and in late 06 when his head got big from being WDC, but you could never deny his talent. And since his being put in check by going back to Renault and playing in the midfield, he's been much more entertaining.i think the lot of you are forgetting/forgiving the events of 2007 too easily. he acted like such a little bitch ass, pretty much from Canada on. Refusing to do interviews with Hamilton, then Hungary etc. Plus hammy's sketch of Alonso from F1Racing was hillarious.

Not me, I'm not gonna deny he is a great driver, and that I used to like him, but I just can't get over his whiny antics...
