Wow what a great race by Sainz. Great race in general. A slow burn but really exciting end.

Feels like Ferrari maximized a result for the first time in a while.

Was it Ferrari, or Sainz? :mamoru:

Def. more smooth operator than the circus, but the pit strategy didn't suck for a change. Double stack and not releasing LeClerc due to other cars coming in was just bad luck

Suzuka was a great race - there seems to be quite some underlying tension between Hamilton and Russel :mamoru:

Quite a few intra team battles

Somehow feel like Ferrari could have pitted Sainz in time and avoided losing the place to Hamilton.

Did not expect this qualifying result at all. Norris and Sainz really messed up.

In a season that Norris totally crushed Ricciardo, Ricciardo took the one win McLaren had.

In a season where Norris has been outscoring his rookie team mate by quite a large margin, the rookie team mate takes the first race win, and somehow Norris' wait for a first win still goes on

I'm amazed Ferrari couldn't manage to get a car ready for Sainz by race start. Don't they have at least 1 backup car?

From Leclerc's speed in today's race, it seems like the wing endplate doesn't do much

Perez really needs to calm down...

He was trying to win the race in 1 lap. Max has really gotten under his skin this year.

At least the race was pretty interesting in terms of all the fights for both 2nd in the constructors and 4th in the drivers :dunno:

Race was entertaining, just the commentary. I get they're trying to get a new audience, but do it for a sprint or quali, not the season finale race.

- FIA states that they're opening conflict of interest investigation into F1, Toto and Suzie Wolff

- F1, Mercedes and the Wolffs release rebukes

- 9 other teams release statements saying they had nothing to do with it

- FIA closes the investigation

all in a matter of less than a week or something

I missed this whole drama. What was the premise of the investigation?

I think it was something like Suzie Wolff might pass confidential information from within F1 (not FIA) to Toto Wolff or some shit like that
